Feel nice in the hand and are very easy to hold, make slicing and cutting very easy for me. However, if you want an utterly precise blade which provides a smooth cut, as with essentially any knife you buy, you'll want to sharpen the knives with whatever means you have (stones, suction-mount sharpener, etc).The included wooden block for storing the knives is sturdy, and the knife slots/cut-outs are cleanly cut allowing for smooth and easy storing and retrieving of the knives. There are non-slip pads on the wooden knife block also, which prevents the block from sliding around your kitchen surface every time you interact with it.
