The sleek looking block comes with twelve knives including six steak knives, a knife sharpener a pair of effective scissors; counting the block, that's fifteen pieces.The knife blades have a nice looking wood grain effect and each are extremely sharp. They are easily inserted back into the block. The are easily cleaned under our water tap and wiped dry with a tablecloth.They all feel ergonomic and are easy to grip. I find the handles to be non slip.Overall, the craftsmanship is excellent and I expect these to last a long time.Very good quality and very good value for money.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2021Nice, sharp set of knivesWe've mostly used the same set of cheap knives for about 15 years now and whilst they are fine we had our heads turned when we spent a bit of money on a single decent 8" blade and found the difference was night and day when chopping. We try and keep the old set sharp with a sharpener but at the end of the day they've lasted us for ages and were never that sharp to begin with, so it was time to invest in another set.This set come in a nice looking holding block, and the knives themselves look the part in black. There's a decent selection of items here, but it was the inclusion of a set of steak knives that swung the balance in favour of this set as it's something we've really been lacking. It's a good, practical selection of sizes and types and they all feel nicely weighted in the hand. Of course that's all irrelevant if they are no use for cutting but they are all nice and sharp out of the box even without using the sharpener - I wouldn't go as far as to say it's made cooking a joy but it's certainly made my life a bit easier when prepping vegetables etc! A nice looking and most importantly sharp set of knives.

The block is sturdy and each hole and knife are branded so you know which knife goes to which hole. The knives are good quality and make it easy to cut and slice veggies, meats... The set is diverse and provide different types of useful knifes. It comes with an useful sharpener that works well.
