Came with a polishing cloth which was a nice touch. I also ordered 4 steak knives and 4 long handled teaspoons. A good weight and lovely design. It came quickly and was well packaged. It washes well in dishwasher. I like the fact I can add more at a later date if I so wish. Very happy.

At the same time, they're not at all uncomfortable to hold.I bought a whole load of new tableware and kitchenware and used Robert Welch for most of it. Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for. These will last years.I've been using them for around a month now, handwashing and polishing afterwards. They've maintained the finish finish well and there's hardly a scuff or scratch on them. They are safe for dishwasher use but I prefer not to take the chance.Almost everyone who has used them so far has positively commented on them.

Having bought cutlery for our own use, we bought this as a wedding gift as we knew it will probably last forever. Great value and you can keep adding to the range with steak knives, cake forks etc, etc. Fabulous.

- where are they made?Robert Welch cutlery is designed in the Old Mill Chipping Camden in the Cotswolds where Robert Welch has been working for many years. Don't know where the cutlery is actaully made.
- Does this come in a presentation box.The cutlery set comes in a box, but I would not say it was a presentation box. - Do the knives have a serrated cutting edge?Hi. Yes serrated cutting edge. Just note, there are two sizes in the Malvern range. The image about is the large size.
- Do they need to be washed before first use ?I did hand wash them before I used them and hand wash them after every use -do not put in dishwasher.
