Roald Dahl on the whole is my fave.I received James and the giant peach cups instead. That's why my overall rating was just 3. Because it's not what I wanted. I will keep them just not totally happy I didn't get the ones I was excited to get and I didn't get any notification they were going to be different. Probably wouldn't have been as disappointed if I had.Over all though the cups are great quality and worth the money.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2020As others have said, Expect it to arrive broken.To start with, I will sh these are lovely mugs and look absolutely lovely out on the side.However, the first set I ordered had one mug arrive damaged. I managed to get a refund and ordered a second set in the hope it would arrive in tact. I was told to dispose or donate the first set so I actually saved it in case the 2nd set had one broken and I could mix and match. 2nd set arrives and 2 of the 4 mugs arrive completely smashed to pieces. Between the 2 set though, luckily, I managed to create one full I damaged set which I love. The rest has been disposed of bar one mug the survived and is surplus which will now be a staff room mug!The packaging of these really needs overhauling as there are too many of these beautiful sets getting wasted.

The first was completely smashed what a waste. The second arrived with the frame that holds the mugs bent and so doesnt sit flush on a surface.Do not understand how Amazon can ship silly things in huge boxes and when it comes to something that’s clearly fragile there’s no thought to protect it.The product itself is very good the mugs look fantastic and its very fitting for the image that shows the Bfg on the side of the mugs.If you value getting your product as it should be then i suggest visiting the Roald Dhal museum is Great Missenden a excellent place for kids and adults alike. And you get to support the museum by buying direct.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 April 2021Second set arrived every handle broken offNot sure weather this is manufacturing issue or package & delivery issue but made tea and in one cup only it poured out from crack full length, other 3 cups seem ok so have asked for a replacement cup otherwise the set not complete. SECOND set arrived just now, EVERY handle broken off.
