Very poor, not worth trying to save money as you'll end up buying a new set very soon unless you don't mind the silver steel showing through on all the contact areas. Spend an extra £15 and get a set that is a better quality.

But they are sharp enough to cut my wife's over cooked meat so mediocre but! I like everything else in the set and they are well made.

However the cutlery is not quite a true black, more a gunmetal/pewter shade (hence only 4 stars) but OK for me. Bought to compliment a recently purchased black dinner service. A complete change for serving Christmas Dinner for my family.
