  Beware

  I purchased 8 mugs from Smilatte UK but in fact this appears to be a front for a Chinese company. Mugs have no brand name, come in boxes from China and has no safety information relating to materials used. This is a growing trend on Amazon UK where you think you are buying from a UK company whereas in fact this is an individual or company in China selling good...you have no idea how they are made or where they come from. Safety standards in the UK are very different than Chine...including toxic materials... try and find a UK manufacturing company

  Stylish, good quality and BIIIIG

  I can't be doing with making constant trips to the kettle to brew up thimblefuls of tea and coffee. If you're making a drink, you might as well make a decent-sized one. And these have a really big capacity: filled brimful they hold 690ml (1.2 pints). If they'd had mugs like this on the Titanic, they could probably have bailed out in no time and averted a major disaster!

  Best big mugs I could find

  Very happy with these mugs - my new favourite. They are the same height as other latte mugs I have, but are marginally wider/taper less at the base so hold slightly more. The handle is excellent - I can get my whole hand in rather than just a couple of fingers so the mug is more stable to carry when heavy (the mug when empty is already quite heavy). Exterior surface is matte when I would have preferred shiny but given how hard it is to find decent large-size mugs that don't have 'comedy' patterns on them, it's really inconsequential. Everything else is excellent so will buy more in the future. Arrived very secure/well packed.

  Set of two very large mugs.

  These mugs are very large ,come in a set of two 20 oz. So if ,like me,like a large coffee or tea these are for you. Good quality, no ruff edges or bottoms. Nice design and we love them. We will be purchasing some more,and I do recommend them if you like a very large drink.

  Burns your fingers

  Bought after seeing good reviews. Heat from mug burns fingers when tea inside. Can not hold using handle alone as too heavy, but can’t support with other hand as get burnt.

  Lovely and big for greedy tea and latte guzzlers

  We had some glass latte glasses but they kept breaking. Tried these as they are large and seem pretty sturdy. They have lived up to expectations. One of the mugs cracked after a couple of weeks when being filled with hot water but was promptly replaced - full marks for customer service. I'd have no qualms about buying some more.

  Great but did break the bottom off one fairly quickly

  I like these mugs. Nice to have more in them. They hold about 1.5x the amount of a normal sized mug.I did manage to break the bottom off one of these with a small knock but the fact it was the whole of the bottom only, makes me think it probably had a manufacturing defect.Overall pretty happy.

  Pretty but worthless.

  Bought these in July by December both have already cracked down the length and are unusable simply down to heat stress, used them maybe 30-40 times in total. Shamefully poor quality for the price.

  Larger than your average mug :-)

  These are big! We smashed one of our old mugs (15oz) and couldn't find a similar size in the shape we liked but spotted these. They are 33% bigger, ideal for a tea belly like me. Heavy too. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

  Not worth the money crack after use

  Bought these cups as my partner likes his tea the first cup cracked after a couple of uses and had throw away started using the second cup and it cracked wilst pouring hot water into the cup. So a waste of time buying these.Do not advise buying. ?
