- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 January 2021Questionable authenticity.Not sure if it is authentic. The Le Creuset inscription looks faded and barely noticeable compared to the one brought directly from Le Creuset store. It‘s also comparatively thin. Buy straight from Le Creuset if you can.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 November 2020Very disappointed with wrong colour.I had ordered 3 mugs in volcanic orange to complete a set which includes the mug on the right in the photo as well as teapots, kettle, plates, etc. The 3 that arrived today are labelled volcanic orange but clearly are not. They are two tones of red - the top being slightly more orange in tone but completely different to all my other ware in volcanic orange.

It got delivered on time and in one piece, I was a bit worried having read some of the mishaps on delivery. I agree with other reviewers that the mug is not as thick as the old ones but still it is of reasonable quality and makes a lovely present as my friend loves it!

This includes slightly narrower handle, thinner rim and different markings on the base. As such I will be looking to return it. Buyer beware if you are looking for a replacement of an older mug it may not match up!

- Does this mug have a flat bottom ?The bottom of this mug, has a rim around the edge, so the middle part of the mug does not come in contact with a surface.
