  Very disappointed

  I'm so disappointed i bought these quite a few times in this last year or so bcz my partner like to drink his coffee in it but there was always problem with them i thought may be I'm not too gentle with them 3 of the mugs insulation cracked one had steam water trap in it and now i order 2 more but this time they arrive in a very bad condition edges are all sharp and uneven it got bits of tiny glass pointing out of them if i wasn't careful it would've cut me easilyo n my hands very disappointed I'm not going to buy it from them anymore i wasted so much money on these mugs this time im returning them.

  Nice and big

  Bought this to replace the slightly smaller glass mug I had before, that one broke. These cups seem much more durable. They are larger than expected due to the extra 'layer'. They do a good job of not letting heat penetrate and I cannot tell how hot the tea isUPDATE: after around 13 months, one cup has cracked while in my washing up bowl. Hopefully the last one will last just as long as the 1st. The cups do not seem to be available now ?UPDATE 2: 31/05/2020 - The last mug cracked and split inside while I was drying with a t-towel. I won't be buying again.

  Not 470ml - They're 400ml

  If you're ordering these because they're 470ml then you're going to be disappointed. Even when full to the brim, so much that you'd spill it the instant you moved it, you'd only get 420ml. I'm not sure what kind of magical liquid they used to measure these with but it wasn't water, because leaving approx 8mm at the top gives you 400ml. This isn't just a problem with this product though, I'd be interested to find out the method for measuring the capacity of cups because these are the 3rd lot I've bought where the actual capacity is much less (15%) of that advertised. My advice would be to buy a cup that holds around 20% more than you actually want it to hold and then you should be OK.Having said that, they're nicely made, lightweight and seem pretty sturdy for delicate cups.

  Too Fragile

  Very disappointed looks lovely but far too fragile.Less than a month and it's got a hole in the inner glass.Maybe if you don't have sugar and don't need to stir your coffee with a spoon you might be ok but if you do forget it.A lot of money wasted never again !

  and I like the extra volume they hold

  I am enjoying these. Coffee stays hot and beer stays cold for a remarkably long time; and I like the extra volume they hold. The scars on one cup(which look like very short hair cracks inside near the rim) do not affect the performance. Until I thought about the implications for the production of heated glass, I was almost put off by the report of some sort of gooey bung on the inside skin. There isn't any goo, and the finishing point is the usual smooth blob at the base. If the small faults can be eradicated, these cups and glasses will be a major advance in design and function. In spite of the minute faults I am going to buy some more.

  Very happy with this cup

  So far we are very happy and satisfied with those cups. Due to those being very lightweight it sometimes makes you be extra careful while handling them as the feeling of those being very fragile doesn't leave your mind, but so far been banged few times and holdind well.Honestly so far best coffee/tea cups I have had.

  These cups are life changing, making a hot drink is so much more stress free, as the large capacity allows my coffee machine to make the coffee without spilling over the top of the cup, you can stir drinks without spilling, also the drink remains hot while you prepare breakfast etc. without the worry of your drink getting cold, I used to get fed up with luke warm drinks, but not anymore, The outside of the cup remains cool to the touch while the drink remains hot, they are also very lightweight and well balanced with a comfortable handle, so it's easier to hold and carry these cups.....Amazing product!

  Doesn't keep drinks warm

  I tried a similar mug at my neighbours and was astounded at how it kept my tea warm right down to the last drop. Ordered these as a result. These mugs do not keep drinks warm any more effectively than a ceramic mug but I would never have known that unless I had tried a superior version. Very disappointed. Returned mugs and was immediately refunded.

  Really disappointed with this item. Was looking all over for a decent double walled mug as they certainly aren’t cheap.Within only a few uses one of the mugs cracked along the top causing water to leak in between the two glass walls. Rendering it useless and unable to retain the heat. Then within days the second cracked in exactly the same place (around the mouth area).Considering the price of these mugs I would expect a much better quality than I got.Glass seemed very fragile. Disappointed with the product overall.

  Negatives : Extremely fragile.. I order 2 boxes of 2 and 1 week on I’m down to 2 mugs.. on exploded when I put it on my slate coaster and one very gently tapped the sink while washing up and shattered into a million bits.. very thin glass and lots of weak pointPositives : the mug is always cool to the touch and holds a reasonable amount of warmth
