  I am really happy with this. I'm glad it wasn't a bright yellow gold like the picture. It's a very nice realistic gold.I bought it for special occasions only and would recommend washing by hands as I did read someone's review about the colpir fading after 6 months of dishwasher use (which doesnt sound too bad) but it is good to know.Good size. Not too heavy and not too light. The small spoons arent like little teaspoons but they're more useful for having dessert etc not for measuring sugar for tea.I'm looking forward to using it and hopefully will update my review with the table setting.

  Ordered these for an special occasion and I am delighted. Lovely quality cutlery and adds a bit of class, making the table set up that much more stunning! They came the next day and were nicely packaged in a box. I was abit worried about the weight but they are weighted perfectly so nice and easy to use. Smooth finish makes for easy cleaning and drying. Happy to have bought these and would recommend to anyone.

  Functional rather than fancy

  If you want functional gold cutlery for everyday use these are for you. If you intend on gifting them you're probably best keeping looking as the box is nothing special and there's little in the way of detailing on the cutlery and the shape isn't overly special. That all said, they do the job nicely and look nice when set out on the table. Dishwasher safe too and come out gleaming. Fair price for a fair product.

  Variety is the spice of life

  I purchased the cutlery for New Year's Eve dinner with my family. I thought that purchasing gold cutlery would be a change. It was. The table looked OK.However, it was incomplete because it lacked some of the basic cutlery pieces that complete a place setting ...soup spoon, dessert forks and serving spoons. Not your fault, mine. I should have realized that a dinner knife, fork and dessert spoon was not enough cutlery for a semi-formal dinner gathering. Can the items I have just mentioned be purchased separately?

  Beautiful set for special occassions

  I was worried it might look a little too cheap but actually is not bad quality at all. We've now used these for several special occasions over the past year and I find the fact that it is suitable for 6 people hugely beneficial!

  Outstanding Finish

  Fantastic value for money. Wasn't expecting much for the price but the positive reviews made me give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Heavy cutlery that looks so much more expensive and the gold finish is just perfect. My husband started to sweat when he saw it and asked how much I'd paid. He was even surprised at the price. Very good value and quality. Love it.

  Very nice looking

  This was the best value for money i could find. Even though the quality is not the greatest I still found these to be very lovely considering what i paid. I wish the effort put into the gold packaging was extended towards the weight of the forks as the box is totally irrelevant. I am still pleased though because the gold finish is gorgeous. For some reason the knives are sturdier than the rest, ialso noticed a forks are a little faded in the grooves (photo attached) this is not very noticeable but i dont know if this fade will progress as i have only washed this set one time. My advice would be to save this for special occasions as i am doubtful of its durability for everyday use.

  Excellent value for money. Set was much quality than I was expecting for the money . Complimented my gold theme Christmas table . For the fact I will only use this for special occasions will probably gets years of use of it. Very happy with my purchase.

  Terrific buy

  Mum and I got a bit fed up with the normal stainless steel knife and fork sets, so when we saw the gold plated ones we thought why not try them. So glad we did! They are lovely to use, wash up brilliantly. We use them for everyday use, and why not. They look rather flash but nothing wrong with spoiling yourself to something that looks very expensive but are actually well priced. They are a solid set but not heavy. The box they come in is great as made from wood. We are buying 2 more sets to give as gifts.. Definitely a fabulous buy. Plus excellent delivery time.

  Dainty Cutlery Set

  The cutlery set is nicely boxed and the cutlery was well presented. Box can be used to store cutlery set. The cutlery is reasonably lightweight but not flimsy by any means. Cutlery is shaped to fit the hand well. I have only hand-washed the cutlery as I am a little worried if the harshness of the dishwasher/salt may damage the set. Very pleased I purchased this set to go with some blue and gold dinnerware I ordered. Made the Christmas table look lovely.
