I like the fact that there is choice with this kit and you can choose from many concoctions. I found the booklet with the step by step instructions extremely useful!Personally, I like the lemon warmer! Will try the others over Christmas and add to the feedback.Brilliant product 5 stars.

The glasses are presented in a quality gift box with a lovey wrapping. Looks like a pricey gift when presented.The Gin making kit was a great feature as I was only look for gin glasses gift set. Gin making was easy as a instruction booklet is provided... couldn’t believe we actually make chocolate gin!

Mothers Ruin (Gin) was a favourite in Victorian times because it was cheap, plentiful, and there were gin houses on most streets. It has always been in demand by the minority, but its popularity waned somewhat in recent decades. However, it now seems to have gained a new following amongst younger people, particularly the flavoured gins, which are much in demand, and usually carry a premium price tag.Firstly, this is a really lovely item, and would make a great gift to self, or others. If you are worried about the glasses arriving broken then I can assure you they are well protected by layers of cardboard, and bubble wrap. Unless something very heavy is put on top of the box in transit, and badly crushes it, there should be no problem.The glasses are a very generous 655ml in size, and made of good quality thick glass, with long elegant stems.The kits also includes sachets of ingredients to make a wide range of your own flavoured gins. A guide to do this is included in the box, and it is really simple to do.Its a fabulous kit, and you get enough ingredients to make 8 full bottles. I made the lemon citrus gin a couple of days ago, and it is well up to the standards of shop bought products.Given the premium you pay for flavoured gins, and the fact you can make 8 full bottles, this set is great value. There is currently no price given, but from memory I believe it was just under £30. To be honest, the two glasses alone are probably worth at least two thirds of that price.Buy it for yourself, or for another gin lover this Christmas. It is presented in a very nice gift box, and comes highly recommended.

They're wrapped well inside the box to protect them; with bubble wrap and cardboard.The ingredients are also separate in an additional box, with clear instructions on how to use them.It must be pointed out that the statement from the manufacturer "kit includes everything you need to make eight bottles of your own delicious gin". Clearly it doesn't have everything, since you need to also supply your own vodka to flavour. This perhaps should be made clear to those who don't know how these kits work. I usually find that cheap vodka works fine and it's generally a lot cheaper than gin in supermarkets.I can definitely recommend this set. Both my wife and I are huge fans of fruit flavoured gin, so we will explore some of these options over Christmas. Just make sure you get plenty of cheap vodka in...and lots of ice for those big glasses.
