  After less than a week these have become my favourite pans

  I'd previously bought into the Ingenio concept with a couple of aluminium frying pans and one pot, but purchased these after seeing a recent 'big green egg outdoor BBQ cook where the comparison between the aluminium and stainless steel versions was made clear.the SS version feels much more solid and has a visibly better non stick surface (first cook was a pineapple tart tat tan that literally slid out of the pan when inverted).The two sizes in this set are actually slightly different to the 2 aluminium ones so i now have a rang of 4 sizes to pick - but doubt the aluminium ones will get selected often.

  I bought these principally as a space-saving measure but am impressed with the quality and design. The handle works really well on a couple of uses. Overall, very pleased.

  These are fantastic pans. I’ve been using the stainless steel (without non stick linings) ingenio pans for several years but they are expensive so I managed without the frying pans. I recently changed my oven to one that has the grill in the main cavity and doesn’t switch on unless the door is closed so I couldn’t frying pans under the grill anymore.Once I’d seen that I can get grill inserts for this pan as well I justified the cost as it was going to be a pair of multi-purpose pans. However There was no way I was going to pay this price. Fortunately they are a more sensible price on Amazon.fr.Since getting them I have used them constantly and they are very good pans, for the grill, the oven, and on an induction hob. The largest pan makes good use of the flexi-zone on my hob.So far there are no signs of chipping or flaking. I am not putting them in the dishwasher as they are so easy to wipe clean with kitchen towel and wash. I am not risking using metal tools either despite the fact the instructions say I can.Guarantee summary, as far as I can check.Handle guarantee 10 years. Non stick - lifetime guarantee, but see what forums say about this.Stainless steel - 5 or 10 years. See Tefal guarantee info on internet.Not dishwasher proof due to harshness of dishwasher detergents. Handles not to be put in dishwasher.Metal utensil safe apart from knives and whisks, but I wouldn’t risk using them.

  Versatility itself! And NOTHING sticks.

  These are quality pans with a superb non stick surface (must be what is used on the space shuttle) and heavy gauge bottom. Far superior to the basic ingenio range (which are still great cooking pans). Easy to clean and stow. I find nothing marks the surface and dishwasher brings them up spotless, despite what has been cooked in them.
