Don't believe all of the hype
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2020
These are nice pans - that is, they are well balanced, heavy enough and well weighted to feel really nice to use. Unfortunately they don't live up to the inflated claims. The first set had several small defects in the non-stick coating - the sauté pan had a small raised blemish and when I carefully rubbed it with my finger it came away with a small chunk of the teflon. On closer inspection I could see several other voids.Despite the advertising, we were never going to let the pans anywhere near the dishwasher and this was only after one or two uses and careful hand washing. We then realised that the lids had also suffered in the dishwasher. So we decided to return them, initially for a refund but we were encouraged to get a replacement set. Somewhat doubtfully we accepted a new set on the basis it could also be returned if necessary. The new set seems better, neither the pans nor the lids get dishwasher and so far, so good. There is a blemish in the rim of the frying pan which I haven't dared to pick at but it is still disappointing in supposedly quality pans.Tefal appear to be pretty inflexible on supply options. Having got this set, it would nice to complement it with a 16 cm pan - but that is only available in a different set, not individually. The bases are not flat but otherwise they are nice pans to use. We treat them with kid gloves, only ever using soft silicone utensils, hand washing only and storing with soft pan protectors in the cupboard. Annoyingly, the lids are difficult to position partly open as they want to slide fully closed but they are nice to handle.I can't believe the answers to questions - which now seem to appear with the previously submitted comments removed - the one supposedly from the 'manufacturer' which says never to heat an empty pan, contrary to the advertising which says 'Preheating your pan is the key to exceptional cooking.'I like them but I'm not sure they live up to the claims or the price tag. Jamie Oliver needs to know.

Like tefal had never made a frying pan before
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 April 2019
Absolute rubbish. I’ve had £70 frying pans and £7 ones - this is mid range but worse than the cheapies from Wilco. The shape is a skillet not a frying pan - sides too steep to flip. The handle is really hard to hold. It’s heavy. It warped within a month. And the non stick deteriorated in a few weeks. Yes I put it in the dishwasher. Yes I use it at full heat. But honestly, who doesn’t?

    Do not buy - don’t last a year !
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2019
Terrible set. Had just over a year now and have had to replace. Coating coming off the bottom of one of the saucepans and the rim of each pan is rough and chipping. Would not recommend!

    REALLY impressed
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 September 2018
Really superb, durable, solid, easy to clean pans. I never usually write reviews, and have actually waited a few weeks of every day use after this purchase deliberately to see how they washed. But I can’t fault them. They are totally non-stick and super easy to clean. Note: I don’t put them in the dishwasher, I ruined my last set of pans doing that, but they are effortless to clean by hand and don’t require any soaking, even when you’ve forgotten to turn the hob off after cooking and continue to cook the remnants of a chilli con carne for half an hour before realising. I use them on a gas hob - they heat quickly but the pan handles remain at a heat that you can still handle without gloves. The glass lids are a bonus. All in all, a really great set of pans, well worth the money. Buy them.

Great purchase still 8 months on of daily use
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 March 2021
I’ve had this pan now for maybe 8 months and I cook a lot. I use this pan for pretty much everything. It’s pretty big for a frying pan and it’s deep sides mean I’ve used it as a wok for big stir fries, I use it to make bolognese ragu in, I use it for (veggie) bacon/sausages, making carbonara. Basically everything.I don’t put it in the dishwasher, I only hand wash, I leave it to cool before washing and the non-stick is so good everything just wipes away with a soft sponge. It still looks brand new.It is quite heavy and takes a little while to get hot but that’s the sign of a high quality pan. Plus is also takes a while to cool so it’s quite nice putting a still sizzling pan on the table if you’re having fajitas for example.Absolutely worth the money - I recommend this so anyone who cooks!

    So very disappointed
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 November 2020
I bought this item to replace a Jamie oliver wok that had given many years of great service. However, I'm really disappointed. I have an induction hob. This item is described as being suitable for an induction hob so I thought it would be as good as my old one. The previous wok got sizzling hot but this one does not. Everything seems to take ages to cook and nothing sizzles. I threw my old wok out as the non stick coating was worn out but I wish I hadn't. So very disappointing.

    Cook Well But Scratch Easily
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 October 2020
These pans do their job and cook well, but they are not very robust - definitely not "hard anodized and premium". I have owned these pans for two and a half years and they look VERY scruffy now; the coated cover on the outside of the pans scratches too easily and the non stick surface also scratches as well. I will be replacing them shortly with something much more durable such as stainless steel. The attached photo is typical of the condition of all the pans, in the set, getting to this condition through normal wear and tear in a family kitchen.

Had this for a while now. Leave it to cool. Soak then wipe. Never scrub and never in the dishwasher. Looks like new and the non stick performs superb

Does what it says on the tin
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 March 2020
Been looking for a quality non-stick saucepan in this size, and they are surprisingly hard to find! My wife and I mostly use this to cook porridge or soup, and it works excellently. Seems well built and durable, comes with a glass lid. After two weeks of daily use, it still looks brand new.

Superb piece of cookware. I bought this item about 4 years ago and was really impressed but found the pan was rather heavy. However this which is the same spec. seem a bit lighter which is great
