Safe and Secure Handle
The Ingenio concept is built around a patented detachable handle that attaches and detaches with one click, turning frying pans into oven dishes, and saucepans into baking tins, serving dishes or storage containers.
Crafted from robust Bakelite, the handle won’t burn when exposed to heat – just remember to detach it when you place a pan in the oven. To attach it, simply press the lever under the handle. Then to release it, just squeeze the two side buttons simultaneously.

- Can I use these with gas and electric hob?Should think so. I have gas hob and electric oven. Tefal very robust.
- Please could somebody let me know if the bottom of these pans are completely flat? What is the surface at the bottom? e.g. colour, pattern? Thanksyes they are completely flat, they have a silver imprint to help with heat transference, but the structure is flat, these are great pans and we are happy with them.
- Can the lids be put in the over also?The lids are not oven safe. This is because you have rubber on the lids which will not be suitable in the oven.
- Can you fry chips in thisI have never fried chips in my pans , so I don’t know if you can or not
