Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018Should have got one sooner!I had no idea this existed and fell upon my discovery of it by accident! Took the plunge and bought it after I had done a bit of research and read the reviews. Wish I had known about this before now, it's what every kitchen needs! Easy to use, follow the recipes or create your own. Because it's a pressure cooker, it cooks in no time at all and the food comes out so tasty because it's retained all of the flavours. I cooked a whole chicken in 35 mins! Would highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2019Terrible design on lcdIt’s a great versatile pressure cooker saves using the job great for tough cuts off meat stews curry desert anything.Ive tried beef tacos and spaghetti Bol both very nice. The main issue is you can’t see the recipe or ingredients on the screen well enough as there’s a plastic coating on the screen which says recipes manual etc 4 settings in total. The problem is all the text is behind those icons and it’s extremely difficult to read any of the text or prep guide and steps it really is so stupid those icons should be in the lcd screen not covering the screen designed by a frontal labotomy patient.Listen regal you can’t read the text under the stupid icon plastic over the top maybe this can be removed somehow but then you don’t know what setting it’s on ie-:recipe manual etc I’m shocked at such stupid design maybe I’m missing something also remember exactly how you took off top plate under lid coz it isn’t easy to remember I had to look on you tube.I downloaded the app so I can use that rather than trying too peer up and over those icons to read the text underneath.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2018Excellent Smart Pressure CookerI was really impressed with this. It simplifies making good food in a hurry. I made a home made Bolognese in this and it was almost as good as traditional cooking. Beef and Ale pie too. Actually there is quite a wide range of recipes built in with the ability to download 4 more themed recipe packs bring the total number up to about 250ish.I love the fact you don't have to babysit it. I would just spend 10 minutes prepping ingredients, maybe 5 minutes browning and the rest is automated. It just tells you when it is done and keeps it warm for you until you are ready to serve.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 October 2018Waste of timeAfter the app failing to work, then during cooking up came error code 2 and machine cut out , repeatedly
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2019A versatile gadget for any kitchenThis was on my wish list for a while. Eventually took the plunge and bought it. So glad I did. This cooks dishes to absolute perfection. Restaurant quality dishes and recipes. My husband is usually very cynical over the gadgets I buy for the kitchen but even he is bowled over by how user friendly this device is. The kids love cooking in it and it'll be used very regularly. It's very large which is ok for us but if you have a small kitchen, you might struggle with its size but I think this device has rendered some of my other gadgets obsolete, such is it versatility. Love it!!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 November 2018Dinner sorted in record time!!I purchased this pressure cooker and I more than happy. Quick and excellent food cooker and very easy to use. Just need to experiment to get good result. In fact I am looking to purchase another one for my son who is currently at Uni. I have made chicken Thai curry, Carrot soup, casseroles, and stir fries with ease and it cooks in a matter of minutes with 10 minutes prep. . Would highly recommend this pressure cooker for quickness and well cooked food and easy to clean. Just need to experiment to get the good results. It's a little on the dear side, but it is worth the money. I used it nearly every day since buying it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 February 2021A must have!I have had a big expectations when I bought it, and after a week using it, I can say it meets 90% of my expectations. The cleaning process is not as easy as expected There are 6 pieces ish in total I that needs to be clean after usage, but one of them was quite difficult at first (by the lid) but I managed it.But overall, this is perfect for unskilful person in the kitchen (just like me) and its built-in recipes are great, the taste are great and that makes me happy!I still need to find out how to input the recipes from the Cook4me app into the device, but I presume that it's more than possible. In my opinion, a must have!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 February 2020PressureHad to return it because it would not stay pressurised, which put me off, would still recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2021Full time working parents would defo recommendI am a non and work full time so needless to say that during the pandemic we were struggling to find the time to cook for ourselves but at the same time we wanted to have fresh food at lunch instead of microwaved pastas. After buying this we’ve been able to take 10 minutes to get everything ready and in the machine, get it running and have a perfect meal everyday and it is soooo easy to clean! If you download the app if get access to loads of different recipes, we’ve even tried some of the desserts and trust me they were delish!Only downside is that for the price you’d might expect to get a machine that could also do slow cooking and other functions.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 October 2020FailureUtterly disappointed words fail to express how poor this machine is. The amount of error messages and water needed to cook stuff washes away any taste. It holds on to smells and tastes from previous cooking. Everything about this product is just wrong I’m 3 days out of being able to return this so it’s going to a local charity shop and I’m down £125.00 not the first Tefal failure but will be the last ever bought
Customer questions and answers
- The item description mentions you can adjust recipes to feed 2,4 or 6 people. Does it feature recipes for one person? No it doesn’t, but she once you have used the machine a few times, it is very easy to asjust and use the manual mode.
- Does the Connect capability helps in any way? or one can use the app independently of the 'Connect' version?Connect helps you start/stop the pot remotely, add/remove receipes and check status. You can use the app independently from the pot to e.g check receipes.
- Can you control the device fully through the App?I'm not sure of sure that all controls are available through through app. You can certainly monitor cooking progress and the app then tells you that cooking is complete.
- Can I make bread in this? No, you can’t make bread in this. This is primarily a pressure cooker.
