- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2020Fine but a strange shapeThese pans do the job and the non Stick is effective. They are easy to clean and seem sturdy. However they do feel thin (sides - base is thicker) and the lid handles rattle a little after only a few uses. My biggest problem with them is the shape! It makes no sense to have a smaller base and wider top. I much prefer my old pans which felt more sturdy and had bigger volume for the same top diameter but the non stick is flaking. If I had more storage I’d keep the old ones for boiling veg and just use these when non stick matters.

Prestige is a very renowned brand in India and is especially known for their sturdy and heavy stainless steel ware. This one though, is too lightweight. It doesn't suit Indian cooking. I am really surprised that Prestige has manufactured such a product. I am not happy with it at all and £66 is too steep for this quality. I used it for 2 months before giving up. £66 packed and lying under my bed ?

Complained to Prestige who would only offer a 20% discount on a replacement as apparently it does say in the instructions not use on a high heat. Still usable but does not look good as a matching set (see photo).

They are a great product and very sturdy. As they are made for induction cookers they take slightly longer to heat up but when ready they lose very little heat thereby reducing electricity use. They are very smart looking, easy to clean and great value for a quality product.

They have lasted well, look like new, but I know my son uses plastic spoons and spatulas with them so not to scratch the non stick surface. They work perfectly on his induction hob, a great buy on offer from Amazon, very happy to recommend this quality pans set.

I couldn't believe how fast they heated the contents.I bought them for £53.99 from Amazon and this was a really good price.I purchased these to replace induction saucepans from one of the main supermarkets in the UK which were truly useless.

Plastic/rubber used so I don't scratch the inside off then. Soak in warm soapy water no dishwasher, so preserves the life of pans longer. Love them would recommend.

The packaging was bashed about a bit but the pans and lids were in perfect condition. :-) The packaging will end up in the bin, so no problem. saved me £17. Spot On.These pans work well on an induction hob. I have bought other, cheaper ones, but ended up giving them away as they didn't work well on my induction hobs.Really happy with the pruchase.

- Do the handles retain water inside them when washed in the dishwasher or are they solid with just a hole at the end for hangingSolid handles that do not retain water when washed. Very happy with them.
- Can you use metal utensils?Metal utensils may be used during cooking however we recommend the use of wooden or heat resistant plastic utensils on your cookware items with non-stick. - Are these saucpans magnetic on the bottomthe saucepan bottoms are not magnetic as they are made from high grade aluminum. it is the cooker hob that does all the work. the result is very clever and very quick to react..hope this helps..regards jimbo
