  Decent basic set

  Bought for use with a new induction hob. Work fine, with a decent variety of sizes.Loses a star because....In one of the pictures you can see from the underside of the pan that the base is bi-metal, with a distinctive pattern, as are most low cost induction-suitable utensils (the more expensive ones have a solid, ferrous metal underside). When we used the pan on a high heat, the ceramic hob surface retained the pattern. Although it has faded, it becomes visible again whenever the surface is wet (e.g. when being cleaned).

  Rubbish (for induction hob use)

  I bought them solely for the purpose of use on a new induction hob (which I ordered from Amazon) and it arrived at, the same time). - Induction -No way!There seems to be a major quality control problem with this product; I received this set a few days ago, and although the magnet I had stuck to the base of the pans, my hob refused to recognise any of the two large pans that I tested. So I returned the product.I suspect that poor specification stainless steel has been used on the bases of these pots i.e. not enough iron content to trigger the electromagnetic field of an induction hob.After my very bad experience with this pan set, I carefully re-read the reviews and Questions and answers on this product. Other buyers report receiving this set and finding that some pots work and others didn’t.I wouldn’t recommend buying this product; just spend two or three times the amount and get good quality stuff that doesn’t give you hassle.- Dishwasher -At this price, and given the unreliability of the induction feature, no matter what the product details or packaging says, I would not trust this set in a dishwasher; if it came out unscathed after the first wash I am pretty certain the non-stick coating would be destroyed after a few months use

  A wonderful product from Amazon.. truly nonstick and works well on induction hob..can be cleaned easily..I prepared Indian dishes like vegetable curries , sweets,fruit custard, upma and other ghee and oil items which made me feel suprised..loved the quality and service. PackING is good and is Reasonable price ..now I'm in love with cooking using these nonstick cookware??As described in the website stating it has easy pour lip for liquids ,I couldn't find on my cookwares ..Only thing that is missing is the wooden spatulas that is generally provided with any non-stick cookwares..!

  Not Induction Hob Functional

  I don’t cook much so I just put these pans on my induction hob after a bit of time sitting not doing anything. I thought well I can cook an omelette right. Nope these do not work on an induction hob. Utter waste of time and I am very disappointed in Amazon. These pans will be in the bin very shortly unless I can find a way to recycle them. Shame on you Amazon. And I am not surprised that finding the review screen is more difficult now.

  Work well with only two small problems

  This set of pans we purchased from Amazon work really well on our induction hob.They are very cheap compared to other induction pan sets but look nice and are doing the job they are meant to do. We've not experienced any issues with any of the pans not working on our hob like some users have reported.Only two minor gripes we have are we put one of the pans in the dishwasher and the join between the handle and the pan appears to have oxidised to a degree so we only handwash them now.The second gripe is do you really have to put the lettering 'Amazon Basics' on the lids? If you didn't nobody would know you've purchased a cheap set as they look nice and smart.Would recommend to anyone.

  Weird

  So im using them on an induction hob and i have this strange issue that when i use the big pot everything is fine but, with the smaller one the cooking is really slow. Same thing with the pans, one of them is fine and the other two are slower for some reason. Other than that everything else if perfect. Really easy to clean and the non stick material is amazing!

  Pleasantly Surprised

  Purchased this set to quickly replace a couple of smaller pans with plans to use short term while I looked for a long term set. They are now my favourite pieces to use, I haven't broken any lids even after a few accidents. Not even a scratch. Large enough for making full and/or multiple meal options for the whole family.The non stick is truly non stick and super easy to clean. I ended up not buying another set and sticking with these. Great value for the price I paid.The only thing I dislike is the white amazon logo on every lid, it spoils the sleek black & glass look of the set. It's a minor annoyance, but if things like this irritate you avoid. Otherwise they are great.

  Good pans

  We bought an induction hob for our new kitchen but weren't aware that our old pans wouldn't work. We are moving soon so didn't want to spend hundreds of pounds on pans that would become obsolete in the next few months.These are affordable and perform fantastically. Would highly recommend them as a budget purchase.I cannot comment on how long they last.

  Didn’t work very sadly

  We tested them on our hob which has a cookware testing feature and it said the pans are not working as well as they should. Will be returning but only after testing more exp pans

  Died after 21 months.

  I don't know why, but one expects cooking pans to last more than 21 months. There seems to be so little to go wrong. However, making a pan an induction pan by welding a steel base to it, does seem to carry the risk that the weld will fail, as it has done in this case. So, is one entitled to expect longevity with a 'value' Amazon Basics product or are you just getting what you pay for?
