Product description
How It Works Kitchen plinth heater connecting directly into the central heating system and generally installed behind the plinth under a unit or cupboard. The heater automatically switches on/off whenever the central heating system turn on. Build-in thermostat doesn't allow the fan to blow the cold air until the water temperature in the central heating system reaches above 38°C. Once the unit turns on the heat is blown through a heat exchanger into the room. There is no need to switch this unit on and off manually. If you need more heat all you do is switch the fan to boost which will push more hot air into the room. This kitchen plinth heater is a very easy to install and use. Included in the Packing Heater unit with two speed switch White Grille (fixed to the unit) – Made out of 0.9mm steel for extra strength 2X Grille fixing Screws Pair of 15mm compression flexible hose (900mm long) – WRAS approved. - can i fit a wired stat to this unitDont think so.. just has a sensor pn side of pipe.. when it gets warm it switches on.. if its switched on.. i guess if you know what your doing you could cut into the actual switch wire.
- Have installed this today, the air is only warm even on tbe 2nd setting when the heating is on. Any ideas how we can get it warmer or does it sound faHi , This sounds like not enough flow of hot water to the heater . You may need to ask your plumber to check the balancing of the central heating . A quick way to confirm if this is the issue is to feel both pipes on the right side of the heater . They should be both too hot to hold .
- Can this be wired using a standard plug!Think it should be on a fused spur. That said, mine is on a plug, but it is half way up a wall behind a cupboard.......
