  Love this fire..

  I had been looking for an electric fire that looked similar to a log burner for ages but they were so expensive at around £700 to £1200. When I came across this fire I was delighted as it was a nice size and also has a space to add real logs for effect.When I received the fire I was not disappointed....it looks greatin my fireplace and also gives out a great heat - my living room can get quite cold and turning this on to its full heat setting really makes a difference. I also bought an add on faux flue pipe (a Dimplex pipe available on Amazon) which gives the fire a real authentic log burner look. I have had lot's of comments from friends on how good it looks and the best part is it was so much cheaper than any others available on the market. Highly recommended.

I really like this electric fire. It is sturdy, gives off a good amount of heat and the flame effect and logs look pretty good.If you don't want the hassle of an Optimist this is a great option. The delivery did take 15 days, but during these times, understandable, as it did come from Germany.A couple of negatives the plastic glass door has lots of fine scratches on it, not sure if this is to do with rough delivery as the box was badly damaged on arrival. The other annoying factor is that the inside of the glass is greasy giving a foggy appearance to the view and you can't clean this, this may be a flaw or usual presentation for this product.

I am bowled over by this electric fire. It is many years since I had an electric fire and I suppose I thought they were a bit 70’s !! How wrong I was. This is smart, classy looking and has the feel of a cast iron stove. I have two multi fuel stoves in other rooms in my house so did not want another, and also felt I needed something quick and no mess for as I get older. I am so pleased with this, very very warm, and up on an island off north west Scotland we need warmth ! I know it is summer time and August, but the need for the wood stove is not u usual this far north at this time of the year, so this fits the bill beautifully. The controls are easy and the flames are lovely, of course it is not real, but that is the point ! After 10 minutes of being on it warms my 220 year old Croft house room, and the thermostat is very efficient. I am sure it will be a godsend in the winter when the central heating has gone off and I need fast heat. A totally good buy, admired by a number of friends, one of whom is so impressed she will invest in one too !

  Perfect little addition

  This fire is fantastic. My daughter walked in and initially thought that it was a real wood burner. You do hear the fan when it is running but nothing too obtrusive. Really pleased with the effect as I wanted a real wooburner in the kitchen but getting a flue through the roof was going to be a nightmare. In terms of delivery ..... great from Germany the problems began when it hit England. Booked in with delivery drivers 3 days on the trot and it didn’t turn up. When they tried for a fourth time I decided to cut my losses and drive the 75 mile round trip to collect it myself.

  Great electric fire, easy to use and looks great once you source out some logs for the bottom compartmentLooks just like a real fire and lets out great heat compared to my last oneWould definitely recommend this product and seller for a great service

  Fan noise

  I would firstly point out that the customer service of this company is excellent, probably one of the best companies I have ever had dealings with. I mention this aspect as we found it necessary to complain about the noise of the heater fan. The company quickly responded, had the unit returned to factory in Germany and immediately replaced our fire with a new unit.Suffice to say the fan on the new fire is in our estimation still too loud and possibly a trait of this model. In all other respects the fire is excellent so if you are prepared to compromise on the fan noise this is a good purchase.

  Absolutely love this fire have had loads of compliments it’s just a bit different to the norm which I love,finished my room off perfectly. Slightly larger than expected so double measure before ordering but still would highly recommend

The fireplace is perfect. I waited for it 3months because of the difficulties with transfer it in the UK after Brexit. The customer service was brilliant, kept me informed. 5 stars for Klarstein.Thank you. It worth the wait. :) Two levels of heating output. Heat comes out on the top front. Fire is realistic and cosy. Quiet working mode. The remote control works perfectly. Very good quality fireplace.

  Cracking stove heater

  Great heater, very realistic flames and fire glow. Just switching on the flames and glow makes you feel warmer. Like a previous reviewer, arrived in UK quickly and was told delivery would be by 9pm the following day, then changed to 3 days later, another no show, then delivered the next day, not text message or phone call for the hour delivery slot. Think you need to look at the distribution centre in the UK
