- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 December 2018Great- but buy some spare bulbs.Really nice fire. Both bulbs blew after less than a months use. Changed bulbs and working again now.If you are keen to keep your energy bills low then it might be worth swapping the bulbs anyway. The originals are 25w halogen G9 and there are two, so the light effect by itself is 50w. Now changed to LEDs so using 10w.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2018Cosy and warmThis fire is excellent. It is not heavy, yet is very solid and, apart from the legs, made of metal. The controls are accessed by lowering the lower hatch door. The main door opens to give access should I need to change a bulb. It comes with an instruction booklet. It looks great and the adjustable flame effect is very comforting and a good likeness of the real thing. The fan is, at the moment at least, not noisy and the heat is generated very quickly. It came very well packed in its sturdy box and earlier than scheduled. I am very pleased with my purchase - it is helping me to keep cosy and warm. Highly recommended.

FIRST, the display IS a bit naff, but, it does offer a warm, cosy glow to just be there if you dont concentrate on it. The heat is good, currently setting 1 is enough easily, 2 is quite potent. The fan is there, but honestly, it`s not intrusive and if you are watching a film or, god forbid, Strictly Come Dancing or something, you can forget it`s going, really not noisy. The thermostat works well, i have my C.H. set low and the heater kicks in if a chill hits, saving on overall heating. It looks pretty good, set off to one side with lots of junk on top, it could be built in. Overall, great value for money, i am happy i chose it !

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 January 2018log firewonderfull caused a lot of interest by everybody who comes it is always a talking point and it fits my fire grate perfectly it makes you fell warm with just the flame so realistic I am delighted with it I was going to by the real thing then at 83 I thought I might not be able to get the wood so this fits the bill well done EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE ONE

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2018Looks good but think where you will be using itIt looks good but it also leaves no room for doubt that it is a fake. The flickering is not quite subtle enough. Having said that I am using it in my workshop and it gives a lovely warm impression. This is not quiet. As it is basically a convector heater it is very audible. But I really like it in the position it is in basically heating a work space. Probably wouldn't use it in the house.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 February 2020Great little log effect fireGreat little fire, and soo quite has being used with just flame only, as we have gas central heating.Definitely couldn't mistake it for a real log burner like my old Dimplex ambi flame but it gives a lovely glow effect and it's also alot cheaper.I just love the warming glow.(1.11.21) still loving my fire, and treated it to a new hearth

- Why doses it not work after not useing it over the summer months ?Turned mine on last night, it's working perfectly - did you remember to turn up the thermostat dial?
- Does this hum or make a noise. My current one hums and us annoying. I don't use the heat just the log effectIt is a fan heater, so the fan makes a low noise, possibly amplified by any fire surround echo.
- Can this go under a desk? My tv unit is a repurposed desk and I would like to put the heater in the footwell but won’t if it’s a fire hazardThe casing never gets hot, so not a fire hazard, but it needs space around the bottom so the vents of the actual fan heater unit are not blocked - we have the feet of ours rather artistically (in our opinion) standing on four log slices, to get it extra clearance
- How do you get only the light to work with no heat?Just kick the light switch ( left hand one, and make sure the dial is turned up left dial) Other two switches are for heat.
