- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 January 2019Fire suiteDo not go by the price of this fire, the flame effect is among the best i have seen and the fan heater heats up quickly and is very quiet. The heater is only used as backup but the flame is always used and is very cosy Very quick delivery.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 April 2019Great priceI needed a fire quickly and this did not disappoint. Nice looking fire and very easy instructions to fit the feet. Well packaged and delivered very fast. The price was excellent and I really did not expect much for the very small price. I was more than pleasantly surprised . Would highly recommend his fire and the seller .
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2020Nice fire but missing temp display. This looks really nice. Solidly made and well finished. Good fire display although the bulbs could have been a bit brighter. Fire display looks a bit dull in bright daylight. Not really used the heat yet other than to see if it was working OK. My only criticism is that the images in the description show a temperature and clock display. That's absent on the fire I received and was one of the reasons I bought it. I've contacted the seller and am waiting for an explanation.UPDATE. Seller responded and stated that, in spite of the illustrations on Amazon, the fire doesn’t have a temp/time display and has offered a discount of 15%. I’ve accepted the discount mainly because I don’t want the hassle of returning the fire and looking for another one. I notice that the images are still showing a fire with the temp/time display! Reduced star rating to reflect the false advertising.UPDATE 2Fire has now started making a clicking noise when the display is on. Loud enough to be heard above moderate TV sound. Contacted supplier and waiting for a response.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2018SmashingI confess I was a little concerned when the brass work was VERY plastic, even going so far as to get the old fire front from the back of the car (never try to unscrew the back - its welded in place it appears), but I was most impressed when I felt the strength of the magnets on said plastic!! Absolutely love it, bought for a realistic glow, which it has
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2021Initially I was really pleased with this fireI first purchased one of these fires just over a year ago. I was so pleased with the look of it, especially the very nice flame effect, (it also heats really well,) that I recently decided to get another one for another room. Initially, it seemed as good as the first one, but then I noticed a quiet, but really annoying, knocking noise coming from the flame effect. It's OK when the TV is on, but if you want to read, or listen to quiet music, the rhythmic "clunk" soon becomes really annoying. I tried to return the fire, but I hadn't kept they original packing which HOMCOM required to accept a return. They did offer a partial refund which I accepted. However, a few days later there was a noise and a flash from the first fire I had bought and the flame effect stopped working. Apparently, there is no way to repair/replace the led lights. So I now have two of these fires, one which makes a noise, and the other without the flame effect! As the second one was more expensive than the first, and I see that the price has gone up yet again, I really would not recommend this fire, as, although they both worked well at first, they are not reliable in the long run.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 April 2020Fantastic bargain! This was a very good price and has exceeded my expectations. It was bought to replace our old, broken, electric fire and therefore our requirements were quite specific as we didn't want to have to replace the whole fireplace. The fire was easy to unpack and fit into place, looks cosy and does provide good heat output (although we haven't needed that very much so far). The only little niggle I have, is the white sign on the front of the fire which spoils the look a bit.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 November 2020Absolutely stunningI purchased this to replace our much older fireplace that had almost completely stopped working & smelt terrible when in use. I waited for this to reduce to around £80 & then went for it. It really is a gorgeous fireplace that looks so good. It can be used as a heater with the flame effect or just the flame effect without any heating which we really like being able to have the choice. The added bonus of having the coal as well makes it look more realistic then a lot of these for a lot more money. Overall a very highly recommended fireplace for the price.

Mine was a temporary replacement for a broken gas fire in a marble fireplace. I closed of the marble with a wooden board/insert I made, and the fire is freestanding in front. (It is bigger than the insert it covers) and I'm able to hide the electrical cord to the plug. We like this fire so much we have not looked to buy a proper gas fire since. We have had this about a year now. Hope this helps, see less
