- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 June 2017Excellent fireExcellent fire very very pleased with it looks lovely on my wall in my living room the flames are very real looking best I have see. Was very simple to install onto the wall just remember the wall bracket is attached to the fire with 2 small screws at the bottom of the fire. Also delivering was very quick. And it's very quiet when the heat is on which is a big bonus. So overall very happy customer if u are looking for a fire you honestly can't go wrong with this one especially at the price you won't be disappointed
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2018Amazon's Choice - Mine Too.What a great flame effect. It's the best I have seen unless you pay hundreds for Dimplex Optiflame. Water vapour for flame is a bit OTT and twee for my liking. The sound of the fan motor is exactly the same level as the sound you hear inside an aircraft when you are cruising. It's not irritating and similar for any fan heater. The adverts talk about 1kw and 2kw. This is an internal mechanism thing and you should not believe it is a setting you can choose between ( I maybe wrong but that would mean the remote and instructions need tweeking). All in all a quality fire. The 3d log effect is merely a plastic moulding of logs behind the fire, you saw the same in the 1980's but with the glass and LEDs help, this time looks great. It has started to make a loud vibrating noise as of July 2020. Bearing or somthing, I have to take it apart to see. The company have offered free parts. Can't grumble but 2 years use I suppose is fact of life nowadays. One let down is the wall bracket. Just two inches too short to span across a standard recess for a fireplace. I had to redrill mine. You could buy a new backing piece or try other remedies but just a bit longer would solve it if you are fitting in a traditional fire place area.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 January 2017Amazing Fire!I absolutely love this fire. I have mine about 3 months and bought another as a gift. The flame effect is very realistic and soothing. It brings a warmth to the room without even having the heater on!The heater is brilliant, it heats my sitting room in about 5 minutes and it's so efficient it's almost unbearable at the the highest setting after 5 minutes. The heater is very quiet, even at the top setting and barely audible above a tv.The design is excellent and the glass front is very stylish it's a great addition to a modern styled room.I've 2 slight niggles (but they don't take away from the fire itself)1. The remote is a bit weak, sometimes i have to press a few times or move it to make it contact the IR on the fire - It's possibly down to the position of my couch in relation to the fire thought.2. I personally found the LED's on the side too bright so I put a few strips of masking tape over the lights to dull the light. It's done the trick and looks much more muted and warm now.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2018Absolutely Stunning! This is absolutely stunning-very fast delivery, and incredibly easy to install...I have nothing but good things to say about this, it has completely transformed my place from cosy, (with my old worn out fire) to super-fantastic-cosy!!!!All the rave reviews are correct, that's what swayed my decision...(lots of options to choose from, when I was shopping for a new fire-it can get very confusing). I am so glad I made this choice, the price is great and it looks absolutely amazing...don't hesitate to get one of your own, you will not be disappointed!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2016Great fire, great serviceOrdered fire mid-day, arrived before mid- day the next. Great service.Realistic flame effect, looks strange separate, but when the glass surround is added it is stunning. Heat output good (the heat comes from the underneath of fire), although it has only just been fitted so I don't know about the running cost. Glad someone posted 'the bracket' situation, i.e. bracket is fitted to back of fire and needs to be removed and fitted to wall first. Saved a lot of time so thank you! Very pleased with service, easy fitting and look of fire. Remains to be seen what my electricity bills will be.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 August 2020Updated ReviewI previously reported a failure of the glass on this fire purchased almost 5 years ago. The customer service response from Appliance Development Services Ltd T/A Endeavour Fires, has been truly amazing. I emailed to ask if they were able to provide a replacement glass and the company responded the next day to offer a glass or a complete replacement (current model) fire FOC, although they are under no legal obligation to do so. They explained that the failure may be due to a minor glass defect and they had only had one similar failure before. Based on their response so far I would have to say their service is exceptional and I have no hesitation in recommending them as a seller. I have updated the rating to 5 star based solely on their service.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2020Wall mounted fireWhat a cracking product. Reasonably quiet in operation, you hardly notice that the fan is on when watching TV.Keeps the room cosy and warm, and the fire display is lovely, many choices of display. It's a 10 minute job to fit, and the front unclips easily for cleaning.Came very quickly, lots of contact from the vendors, a good buying experience.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2020It Heats the room wellThis is a great heater for my living room it heats a room roughly L 6 x W 4.5 x H 3 meters in about 5-10 mins. It looks quite modern mounted on the wall which was very simple to put up - with the right tools naturally. The flame is obviously 'faux' though the overall effect with the backlight gives a nice warm cosy ambience during the evening winter months. I like that the heater has a sensor so switches on and off when temperature reaches its optimum and the backlight has a selection of colours which are dimmable and create a preferred mood. The remote takes a bit of time to work out, admittedly I haven't got round to programming the daily/ weekly setting options. I just switch it on and off as I need. Overall better than I was expecting.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 October 2016Not a bad wall fire at all and is easy to fit ...Not a bad wall fire at all and is easy to fit although the instructions aren't brilliant and I only knew about accessing the bracket by another customers feedback. The fire itself appears to change depending on how your looking at it. In my case, when standing above it and a few feet away, the flame effect is good, but lying down on sofa ten feet away, it can resemble smoking logs rather than flames, but over all I'm happy with it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2020Fantastic FireplaceAfter looking at several different models, I am so happy that I chose this one! It looks absolutely amazing on my wall (even when it is off!).It gives out great heat, is really quiet and I really love the different backlight colour choices, flame choices and brightness choices! You can tailor it to look however suits you! The remote control is really easy to use. I also love that you can have the flames on but no heat, just for effect. Makes a room feel really cosy, even if it’s already warm. Would highly recommend this product.
Customer questions and answers
- Are the logs a picture on the glass or are they a 3d log shape with lighting underneath? They are plastic and look so false. They stand out in front of the flame and look ridiculous. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with this fire and I can’t return it as we had to cut off the plug to install and not in Prime.
- Does it give off much noise?Basically no it doesn't, not excessive anyway. You get a small amount of noise, just audible if you listen very hard when the flame effect is on, but to be honest that is being picky and of course when the heater is on you do get the noise from the fan which is louder on 2 kW than 1 Kw as it is spinning faster but that… see more Basically no it doesn't, not excessive anyway. We are delighted with this fire and mainly use the flame effect for just that, the effect and rarely use the fan heating, I don't think you will be disappointed if you purchase one, we certainly weren't. see less

The fan on low speed is audible but that should not intrude too much if you have the TV or radio on or you are in conversation. I think the heater is very good value for money and looks good in my newly refurbed lounge, though I don't rely on it as my primary source of heat as I have a central heating system. I hope this helps you. see less
- I have this electric fire and need a spare part where can i purchase it from?As your purchase was from Amazon, I would contact them, with your question.
