I chose the PureMate PM9005W air purifier, for a number of reasons.1/ Having bought a “PureMate Humidifier” last year and was very pleased with it.2/ It’s got a 5 point air cleaning system UV light and a HEPA filter, stopping 99.97% of all dust.3/ came with a 2yr guarantee.4 / A very Reasonable price.5/ I love the air quality feature showing Red = Bad, Yellow = ok, Green = Good... It also shows a particle matter number which is the parts per million.6/ It’s got 3x fan speeds, plus an Auto button (this is what I always use). You can also turn all the lights off for night time and level One is extremely quiet.I’ve had this just over a week now in the living room and am very pleased with it so far.

A bit pricey but I bought under the umbrella of the more you pay the better the equipment. I would recommend this unit because it really does work even on large rooms. Iv got 2 dogs and hay fever plus an eye condition that makes eyes sore and itchy, this unit helps massively.I use it in the living room in the evenings and bedroom at night, ?

Excellent compact well constructed design, takes up small floor area and is very portable. Fan very quiet, controls easy to work and good visual warning system of pollution levels. There are simply no other words to put it. Furthermore, Purmate PM9005 is somewhat a large unit, considering the comparatively small area of effect: 30m2.If you wish to sleep with your air purifier on, or even just enjoy a quite conversation on the phone or next to friend, then PureMate is not for your. At least not this noisy unit.

- How do you activate Sleep mode on yhe box it says whisper quite but still loud on low setting on box it says sleep mode but don't know howSleep mode is when you the lights are all turned off but the air purifier is still functioning. Please ensure the filter is not within a bag.
