If you are upgrading from a previous levoit air (eg lv-h132) this is a serious step forward and for the price (got mine on sale) well worth it. Even though the specs say sound difference is minimal (from 25db quietest to 24db in latest model) it is no comparison. Maybe i got a duffer first time round (likely). Earlier model of mine had bit of a rattle in the fan from day one and iPhone will say its more like 40db at its quietest in real life. Oh well I thought. Now I know what i was missing. The latest is a super quiet soft whoosh on lowest setting. And it is swallowing up loads more air per second then earlier model! The "purification per decibel level" is the real metric and its a night and day difference. Plus the really annoyingly loud beep when you press any button is gone. Im sure my neighbours will appreciate that at night. Comes with the filter specialised for pet odours supposedly but when you read the specs the size of particles it filters includes mould spores etc. Makes me wonder really what the difference is with the new range of specialised 350 filters that target mould. Will they not get rid of pet odours just as well? Seems bit of a gimmick that one and who is really going to want to swap them regularly? What are pet owners with british wintery mould on windows supposed to do, choose one over the other? Nonetheless nice piece of hardware only slightly larger but so much better designed and the price per CADR/db is hard to beat. The more expensive bigger options from big brand names arent giving you more value on these fundamentals they are charging more for the air quality sensor "smart" addons. If you want that get a real air quality sensor with better stats and a better app that is more useful.

Easy to use and powerful fan.I have given a low score due to the very misleading marketing images used. ALL the pictures used feature the Levoit free standing in the middle of a table, on a living room floor, on a side/coffee table, etc, in a way that appears almost ornamental. This gives the impression it is a wireless product. I imagined it could be charged and disconnected or maybe left connected via mains or usb, however this product is wired with a mains plug. The description does tell you it requires 240v and uses a UK 3 pin plug. If you do not realise this, you may be very disappointed by the power cable and likely extension cable that will be trailing to your mains socket. You will not be able to position this in the middle of your living room table as the images suggest. You will not be able to place them on high shelves (as I wanted to) without a cable hanging down your wall)I don’t think this kind of advertising is fair.

Awesome Investment!Since installing the Laminate Floor and buying this Levoit Air Purifier the dust in my room has diminished, My computer desk no longer has a thin layer of dust after 2-3 days, It's Dustless everyday, so happy.The Whole room feels cleaner and easier too breath,... I tested it with a laser pointer as laser's pick up dust particles in the air very easily,... there was virtually None at all, just the odd particle here n there which is understandable giving the bedding.There is 3 Speeds with a sleep mode, which works well for me personally, you can also set the Levoit Air Purifier on a timer, 2,4,6,8 hours and then it'll turn off, you can also turn the lights off if needed and lock the controls so the kids can't fiddle with the buttons.All in All a Great product with no Regrets at all,... if there was one feature I could have added, It'll have been Wi-Fi or Bluetooth so I could APP control or Alexa control.The only way I have been able to control my Levoit Air Purifier via Alexa is via a smart socket.I have one with 3 sockets on, one for TV, PC and Levoit Air Purifier plugged in.It's limited control, but there's just no way I could ever afford the Levoit Air Purifier Core 400S with Wi-Fi and App control.1 = Would I buy the Levoit Air Purifier Core 400S... If I wasn't on Sickness benefits and was able to work,... YES, I would buy in an instant.2 = Would I consider buying another Levoit Air Purifier for other rooms, (Funds Permitting),... YES, in an instant.3 = It's a shame Levoit don't also make Robot Vacuums,... Is this something Levoit may consider in the near future? I'd love a Vacuum with mapping, but far too expensive for me..4 = Would I Recommend this product without hesitation?... To my surprise, it worked excellent in a studio room (~ 35 mi square).The amount of dust prior to the purifier was uncontrollable, but since then it has significantly reduced those nasty dust.I read a lot of negative reviews on why the seller wrote 40 mi square instead of 20 mi square, but sadly they all failed to READ the manufacture booklet where it states “up to 40 mi square”.Just make sure that windows and doors are shut to see an improvement in the air.Another thing about this air purifier is that it can run up to 45 Watts (at maximum speed) so by leaving it 24/7 it may cost you about ~£6 extra on your electricity bill for a month.Unlike other air purifiers such as Dyson, those can hike your electricity bill to ~£20-40 extra a month.Peace

Clears room from pet allergens, yet to see about pollen (bought in the winter), but if the pet airbornes are anything to go by, I won't be disappointed. Really pleased and has changed my life from having to avoid the room with the pet cage. Be warned though, no one has mentioned in other reviews, to get the most out of it, it needs to be 30cm away from obstacles. After a lot of research and settling on this levoit, I would recommend this purifier.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2020Works well.Very pleased with this machine, easy to use, really makes a difference to the air quality. On nighttime mode there is barely any sound & it really is whisper quiet, especially if stood on a carpeted floor. I only put it on full setting as a bit of a boost, as it does create quite a breeze so can make the room feel a bit cooler, which would be ok in the summer, but not what you want in the colder weather. Overall an excellent machine, and for its size its very powerful.

I noticed that nobody had posted an image of how the filter looks after a few months so I thought I'd show you.This is after 5-6 months of being in pretty much constant use, in a room with 2 rabbits where there is sawdust and hay. The room is a standard living room size with relatively good ventilation.The purifier notified me this morning to change the filter so I've gone ahead and ordered the pet filter for next time. This filter is the one that comes with the purifier and I can honestly say both have saved my hayfever 100 times over and it's the best purchase I've made this year.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 March 2021Excellent!I use this in the room with my free roam rabbit. Only found out after getting her that I’m sensitive to her fur and the hay she’s fed with. I couldn’t sit in the same room as her for more than 15mins without sneezing and getting a terrible stuffy nose. Since purchasing this I have only experienced mild at best symptoms that will only come on after about 45mins. I would highly recommend for day to day pet and indoor allergens!

But most importantly does a amazing job my son suffers greatly with allergies and even with medication is normal still suffers I bought this after much time reading up on what makes a good air purifier and the reviews on this weren't wrong. Within half a day of having this running on speed 2 the improvement in my son was visible and it has stayed that way. If you have allergies are smokers or have pets this product will work amazing especially if you don't have silly money to spend

- As a smoker would i need the toxin filter? These don't seem to be available in the ukI am a smoker and the filter that comes with it seems to do its job
