  Excellent air purifier

  I purchased this for a small workshop where I cut, sand and paint wood. This environment suffers with high PM2.5 and also HCHO fumes. Before I installed it there I set it up in the lounge of the house. The main unit connected to the sensor without issue and started up. The display started with a contamination value of 12 ( I think the range goes up to 99) the fan fired in and it was whisper quiet. The display soon reduced down to 8. So far so good. I then moved it into my workshop. I painted some wood in there with water based paints that had also been lightly sanded as well. The display jumped to 36 and the fan was running much higher. After about 10 minutes the display was dropping and down to 22 and the fan speed dropped accordingly. This is exactly what I wanted it to do so it runs intelligently based upon the air quality. Replacement filters will need changing based upon the amount of dirt they filter off. In my environment I don't expect to get the typical life but the machine tells me when to replace. thankfully, replacement filters are at a reasonable price. This was not a cheap purchase and I could have got a much cheaper purifier but after doing lots of research I am very pleased with my final decision of the Leitz TruSens-2000. After all, what price is my respiratory worth.

  The sleep mode is quite even for me to sleep and I wake up at a sparrow farting. The air is kept clean and it's easier to breath and a good night's rest.

  Works Well but Does Give off a 'Burnt' Odour

  My son suffers quite badly with Asthma so I purchased this. He is 14 and set it up himself, so very easy to set up (and he did remove the plastic covering from the filters). According to the readings, it does remove contaminants from his bedroom quite quickly. He seems to feel the benefit.But for at least a day there was quite a strong 'burnt' odour. Its less noticeable now but still there faintly, which might put some people off using it. Its also quite noisy when going at full steam, but there is whisper mode you can use.It is quite expensive but having bought cheaper purifiers that don't really work, I thought I'd give this a go because of the severity of his asthma. So far, so good.And the replacement filters are a lot less expensive than ones provided for the cheaper type of air purifier I had (£20 compared to £50).

  My wife thought I was mad spending so much money on this but she has now changed her opinion. The air in our living room is so much cleaner - we live in a very dusty area and the dust on the furniture has been practically gone. WE run the unit on Whisper - practically silent. I suffer from COPD and adult asthma and I am amazed at the difference this unit has made to me.

  Love this, works really well, instantly picks up smells or pollutants in the air and it's very stylish!
