- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2020Compact, works well, and can control from anywhereI wanted a purifier for my office, as it can get a bit stuffy and I also have minor asthma issues - especially in the colder months of the year. I was looking for something that could sit comfortably on my desk or under it. This met that need, but I also liked the look / design of it and that it was WiFi/smart-enable as most of the devices in my house are also smart. This meant that I could add it to my 'Smart Life' app, which took less than 2 minutes, with my other devices. The touch buttons on the top of the device, for power / fan speed / timer, are responsive and work well without needing too much pressure. The fan shows different colours, depending on air quality - e.g. great = light blue, bad = red - and you can always see, or turn the light off, as you wish and you can also see the air quality on the app. We had a gas main issue, last week, and I used this in our basement to remove any lingering smell / clean up the air in the hallway. It worked well and the area smelted good again quickly. This is a really nice-looking, and easy to use, piece of kit.

My daughter have very sensitive nose and sneeze alot when its dusty. It doesnt help when the bedroom floors are carpet and have tons of softtoys lying around. This HIMOX air purifier so far doing a brilliant job. The auto sensor is so helpful to tell me the current air quality. Hopefully this is the answer to my daughter's sneezing!Update 31st May 2021:So got this on 20th Dec 2020. Its about 5 months now and still working well. Filter now says left 21%. Read on leaflet that filter will last about 6 months depending how often its turned on. I think the only down side to this is the filter cost £28.90 which last for aboit 6 months. Perhaps in the future Himox could create a reusable one that can rinse and reuse the hepa filter and be more environmental friendly.Overall. Still great investment.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2021Himox -H06 Air PurifierLove it.. when I fist pug the Himox Air purifier on auto the light was yellow and after about 30mins turned Blue. This morning I patted a duster near the purifier and the light changed to Red. I have found having air purifiers I don't cough or ? which for me is brilliant. Fully recommended this product and would buy again.

I have bought 2 and you can feel the difference in the air quality in the room.The connection to the smart life app was quick and painless, something other companies could learn from.The manual is a little sparse and could perhaps do with more information on how best to use the device. I had to look at the Amazon page to know what the different light colours mean for example.I've only had it a couple of days so I don't know how long the filter lasts, but I imagine that depends on the conditions in the room it is being used in.Edit: I've had it for a week now and I'm really pleased with it. We've been using it in the bedroom and my wife seeme to be sleeping better as a result.I'm currently moving it between all the rooms in the house.The filter is still on 97% so it is holding out well so far.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2020Love a smart device that worksWe have various Air purifiers that are set throughout the house in order to filter the air for the people in our household who are more vulnerable than others.We currently have this one setup mainly through IFTTT that allows the air purifier to come on automatically via IFTTT activation when the air quality in our are drops below a pre-set level, we also have it running most of the night as we found out that even on it's highest setting it's really quiet. We use this through Google assistant too which means that when needed we can ask google to turn it on...and it does, it's a really nice touch.Following on from other recommendations we bought a few replacement filters as it's surprising how much these take out of the air in such a short amount of time.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2021Nice Modern Design & Gets Job done.I am pleased so far with the Air purifier.Has a nice modern design with a light indicator on the top, blue when air quality is good and yellow if not. Its also quieter than thought would be too!It's easy to setup, simply plug in and turn on (after removing filter from plastic bag), Getting to the filter is no challenge either, the bottom simply twists off.It is also able to setup with Alexa, just have to download the Smart Life App and add device then enable the skill on the amazon app.From the Airpurifier it has a couple timer options, 4hrs or 8hrs, but if want longer or to setup a schedule you can have set to WiFi mode and setup a schedule from the app.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2021Doesn't change the air qualityI bought this to help remove any dust in the air, as sometimes when the sun is shining in you can see the dust floating.This has made zero difference, I can see just as much dust floating now as before I got it. It works well for things like smoke from cooking, or anything else that is directly beside the machine. But it does not filter the air in the whole room, even a small room.

In auto mode you hear the fan go faster and the light turn red when it detects pollution. It also provides a great night light where it’s located on my landing. I can control it on my phone by WiFi. Outstanding product.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 February 2021Not bad, Not so greatI had problem connecting via Wi-Fi. The fan was so noisy maybe i had a faulty product. The blue light is a nice touch though, but i decided to return as the quality is questionable.

- Does anyone know how much space should there be around unit, can it stand close to a wall?I imagine it is perfectly fine to have up close to things. The vents are on the top of the unit

- Can anyone advise if there is a way to test this H06 unit is actually working as it has shown blue light since first being switched on, ?My unit usually shows a blue light unless we are cooking and then it will go yellow and sometimes red briefly before going back to blue. You could try temporarily moving your unit into your kitchen whilst cooking to test it.
