  Updated - New Unit Tested and Found Working to Specifications

  ORIGINAL REVIEW - Whilst the air flow appears good there is unfortunately, persistent fan noise at all speeds (especially the supposedly quietest setting). If the unit is turned upside down, the noise almost disappears indicating that the fan is not seated correctly. Defective unit returned for refund.UPDATED REVIEW - Following contact from Himox Customer Services, I received another unit to try and it works perfectly as per the product description. In fact, the quiet setting (sleep) is better than on a recently purchased Silent Night model of similar design.I would be happy to recommend this and will now put my original purchase concerns down to a faulty batch that slipped away from quality control. Also, many UK manufacturers could learn from Himox Customer Services with respect to ensuring customer satisfaction.

  Ok - but better out there!

  I bought three different air purifiers at the same time for different rooms. This one appears to work well, but would be better placed in a smaller room.It doesn’t have a sleep function and the blue light is a bit bright. I turn it around though and isn’t too much of an inconvenience.I have to say, this is the least quiet of the air purifiers I’ve purchased. It’s almost like you can hear each mechanism in the fan. That said, it doesn’t affect my sleep but you can hear it. I was surprised by this as it’s the smallest of the devices. My largest device (which is like a small oil drum) is the quietest and you cannot hear that at all!The scent feature is basically putting an oil on small sponge piece and the fan blows this. It’s fiddly and doesn’t last a long time.An ‘ok’ purchase for the price, but I wouldn’t buy again for another room. There are others out there that provide more for similar money.

  It works not a hype

  I had overcome the covid 19 recently but my hayfever symptoms have doubled, i was desperate and started searching for something to help me, then i came across this product i was skeptical but i saw a review from a lady that had done her research so i decided to buy which am glad i did it has been 2 days now since i got it and it has improved my state of wellbeing, the product is well made small enough but powerful for my room, for some reason the sound it makes is helping me sleep and the effect on my sleep has been brilliant, i do not wake up with a stuffy nose and so far have not taken any anti allergies. It is a small and effective product, i am happy i bought this. Thanks. Delivery was quick.thanks again and be safe.

  Has multiple settings

  I’ve been using it in my craft room to stop dust getting in my art. It’s got multiple settings a low quiet mode for constant or over night setting. Then there is a stronger setting that I use when I’m creating and it is great at removing smells and dust when working.

  HIMOX AP01 Compact Air Purifier.

  Noiselessly works in the background and positive feedback from the family about effectiveness. Feels a little less muggy in the living room, air is a little fresher. Reasonable price and quick delivery.

  if you want a more powerful machine to clean the air in a whole home, a large open-plan space or workplace HIMOX air purifier is a great device for that . The price isn't too high , good-looking and performance is excellent.There are three speeds, with a simple button on the top that you press to cycle between them. Need to mention that the device is quiet. The lowest speed is almost silent, you forget that it’s on; the higher speeds sound like a fan.Also there is the space to fill with essential oils, wasn't very keen to sue for that. But try it. It works ok, cant say that it is very strong .But other then that, very happy with the purchase . Keep using it every day .

  The air purifier was OK. It does the job but it's a little small.It lets you add essential oils to the top which is a good feature I thought.

  I bought this product for my son who is at university. He has dust allergy recently has suffered with bad symptoms. Since he started using this product his symptoms has reduced. Good value for money and compact so can take to relatives home when we stay as he gets bad reactions.

  Good device, filters unavailable

  Initially I put this as 5 stars as it was really helping me sleep. But I have been trying for 8 weeks to get hold of new filters as it is beeping and the change filter light is on. I cannot find a replacement filter anywhere. This was an extremely expensive single use air filter as it is now useless. The device itself is great but let down by accessories.

  Replacement Filters unobtainable! Supplier not contactable. Great product very poor support. AVOIDUpdate 4/7 filters now available but unit no longer functions. Unexplained red light on starting and fan fails to come on. No customer support or supplier contact details.
