Far too noisy and not as advertised.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 January 2021
We bought this for use as a dehumidifier in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. However, the dehumidifier function utilises the air conditioning to condense the water, but does not warm the air up again making the room far too cold for the winter. Also, the product advertised shows that there is an oscillating feature, however the product delivered has no such thing and is different to the product pictured. The final nail in the coffin was the noise. The advertised noise level is 65db but in reality is closer to 70-75. The exhaust fan noise when used as a dehumidifier with no exhaust hose routed outside is unbearable. No way you could sleep with it on, or watch TV at a sensible volume.I understand this is cheap for an air con unit (£199 when I purchased) however, I would suggest paying a little more for a product that is a little better quality and usable as advertised. On the positive side, it is quite a stylish looking unit and the air con does get cold. So if you’re solely after an air conditioning unit and can put up with the noise this product will do just fine for the price!

It’s not perfect, but does the job.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 August 2020
It took a bit of time but it managed to cool our room (20sqm). Energy efficient. Average size for a portable aircon. Easy to use. Noise is a bit loud especially when it’s trying to reach the desired temp. Once it gets to the desired temp, noise level is down. You will need to buy a window kit if your window is not the sliding type.

Great Air-Con for a small flat or office
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 July 2021
I have been using this air-con for the past couple of months and I can't believe that I went 5 summers in my current house without having this. We live in a new build coach house with nice new insultation. It makes it nice and cozy in the winter, but boiling in any sort of heat.I decided to bite the bullet and get a portable air-con unit to help control the somtimes 30c temperatures it would reach in the living room and bedroom. As an overall pacakage, I don't think you could get any better than this little unit. It is a great size to be able to fit in a closet during the winter, but can chill a room down really quickly once on.Now, if your goal is for a room to be chilled quietly, none of these portable units are going to be for you. Having the whole unit inside, which half of it usually sits outside the home, makes it quite loud under operation. But if the option was to have this little machine loud or to sit in 30c with a fan blowing around that hot air, I would take this every day of the week.I am also basing this review on the air-con portion only, as I don't use it as a dehumidifier. If you use it in that mode, you will need to instal rubber tubing that will pipe out the water from the unit, but using it for only air-con that isn't needed. I think it stores the small amount of water it creates in a tank that you will empty at the end of the season.I honeslty can't say enough for this device. Most of the negative reviews on here I am not sure if they have read through the manual or are not using it properly, but if you do your research and understand what you are buying this is a great product for the price.TLDR - Great air-con for the size and price. It can be a bit loud while chilling, but the cool air is worth it.

Works only for rooms up to 12 sq meters
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2020
This product is definitely not worth its monies, description says it should work on the room up to 22 sq meter but we cant feel much difference in a room of 20 sq meters. It only works in small bedroom of max 12 sq meters. I would definitely not recommend to a friend.

    Good (best) buy air conditioner
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 March 2021
Noisy, but not much over the mentioned 64db (is not intended to stay next to it) Good quality plastics, nice looking and suitable for most room size. I expect reasonable electricity consumption and by far is best buy here. The bad, delivery by DPD was hell, first day they claimed nobody was on property(photo evidence shows they where half mile from my place) second day the DPD employee came dragging the box and kicking the hell out of it(he was not using a well trolley or similar as per instruction on the box (see photo) The device was well packed, no damage, but I am sure they flat the box due to marks of drag on the side of the box (again instructions on the box)

    Doesnt quite get cold enough
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2020
Bought as a replacement for a older model, but only goes down to 18° which is not great compared to others. Also the window kit it comes with is only designed for sliding windows (horizontally/vertically) and not swinging windows. Does not include a wall kit either so needs to bought separately. Noise level isn't bad but I am hearing impaired so your mileage may very.

Love the product but came with a broken castor. I asked Amazon for a replacement but they just said it was out of stock. Will have to buy one myself!

Does what it says on the tin or box ?
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2021
Really impressed with this item. Looks good compared to other models, nice slim size, and does the job. It’s cools quickly and perfect for most medium sized rooms. The noise is a little loud when used to full capacity but like the instructions say you don’t need to have it set on 18 which costs more to run and in my opinion pointless. As a result I have mine on 22-24 and it’s not to loud, you can sleep with it on. The remote control and sleep mode work well. The only problem I had was fitting the exhaust tube through my window, as my window is not a slider. After investing a further £15 on a window fitting kit I now have the perfect air conditioner and at a decent price on Amazon ?

    Good but slightly underpowered
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 July 2021
Nice solid build and seems reliable. The only issue we have is we purchased it to cool a 20m2 room but it struggles a bit... Yes it cools it but if you set it to a nice 18c (lowest it will go) it never gets there and just runs all day. I think of you have a room over 15m2 I would go for a slightly more powerful one. It does work though and we are glad we purchased it but the room size is slightly over enthusiastic.

Customer questions and answers

  • Is the expensive to run all day
Based on my own usage, it costs about 16p per hour. So I guess you can times that by how many hours you plan to use it. Obviously it maybe cheaper in certain times in the day based on your electric contract. Hope this helps... Something to note it is loud lol.
  • is this an air conditioner with a vacuum pump like a fridge or an air cooler which you put water or ice in?
It’s like a fridge it has a compressor. It only cools to 18C however
  • When I’m dehumidifier mode does the air extraction pipe need to be attached? Also is it a water tank which needs to be emptied or does it need a drain
I've never emptied mine, it drians from a bung, very low actually. Also there is an hose attachment higher up to continuously drain. Mines a couple of year old now used daily.
  • How long is the power cable?
    About 1.5 mtr
