  Horrendous experience

  Was not able to use this at all. Item was delivered with the wrong size exhaust pipe and after a month of trying to get the correct part I finally gave up. They sent me 2 totally different parts despite sending photos of the exhaust pipe. What made this even more frustrating is that there is no phone number. You are stuck sending emails and then chasing customer service for responses. The unit itself looked good visually but cannot comment on noise or effectiveness at cooling.

  Incredibly noisy!

  Bought this for the home office and was aware of other people's comments about the noise but thought I'd be OK as the benefit of the aircon cooling would outweigh the noise impact. Also, I am also using two noisy fans so didn't expect the noise impact to be worse!How wrong I was! The noise is terrible. I wanted it for my home office/bedroom (I have to self isolate from my family) but the noise was so bad that I had to switch it off during calls and remote meetings! In the evening I could not hear the TV!It's going to have to go back. Have emailed the customer services (@oneretailgroup.com) to see if there is anything they can recommend but they have not got back to me. So I've put in a Return request. Frustrating as it will cost me a lot and I'll still be sitting in a stifling room!

  ITS NOISY!

  This does the job ok, it is very noisy so forget using this in the bedroom.I bought this for my office and it does the job ok but oh boy is it loud! I needed to turn it off for telephone calls.I also tried to buy the three year warranty from the Pro-Breeze website, I wish I hadn't bothered as the good folks at Pro-Breeze have no record of my purchase, after at least 15 mails back and forth over a week or so, I have had to raise a dispute with my bank to have the money returned and advised Pro_breeze that this was the case - they haven't responded.Overall its ok but I suspect there is better for the money and coupled with the awful customer service from Pro-Breeze I would recommend looking for another brand.

  It arrived damaged, leaking oil everywhere! It is also bright yellow & not white as shown in the picture. So angry! £400 wasted!

  Doesn’t deserve the price

  The packaging was horrible! The box arrived broken, the plug was out of the box. It looks like it was a returned item.It’s very heavy, even with the wheels it’s still not easy to move on carpet. the handles on the sides are uselessVery noisy even the sleep mode is noisy.The louvers are cheap quality..

  Great piece of kit for the price

  Love the fact that this comes with attachments to bot sash and normal windows. we have sash windows and the expandable vent cover works perfectly.The only thing you could potentially mark the unit down on is the noise - its definitely not quiet. but then i think most Portable ac's are noisy and for this price you can't really go wrong.On the whole - works very well in a medium sized double bedroom venting out the window.Super simple to set up. Remote control works well and there's not too many functions to get lost in.Haven't tried the dehumidifying yet.. The only thing i would say on this though is the water outlet is INCREDIBLY close to the base of the unit at the rear. it talks about getting a shallow tray to catch the water if not using the pipe.. but the tray would have to be 1.5cm tall to make it work. quite an odd setup.

  Great little box

  Purchased a portable air conditioning unit ahead of the summer months as our bedroom only has a small window so we pretty much melted last year. During the warmth of May this unit only need to be on for about an hour and a half to take the edge of the room and make it much easier to fall asleep.We haven't used the sleep mode but I did read what it does in the manual and it sounds like a good feature, however the unit is quite loud so you might be better with just getting the room so you can fall asleep rather than constant cooling through the night.We have a fairly large bedroom, but as long as everything is setup correctly the cooling effect is pretty quick.And as it's portable, this can be stored away during the winter months.Would recommend to anyone that struggles with the summer, think about all the hot countries that have AC, and remember that a portable one can be moved and put away when you don't need it.

  Keeps Me Cool

  Has shown to be effective at keeping me cool on exceptionally warm days in my room which tend to get considerably warm on hot days. It is pretty loud though, louder than a fan but not obnoxiously loud. Also its quite heavy but the wheels mean that once out of its box you dont have to lift it up as much, which is nice. Also the different modes allow you to chose when you want your AC on as on some days the fan is all you need to keep cool during the summer.

  I purchased this unit to cool down an extremely hot bedroom. It was easy to set up and the window seal kit works really well. On a hot day it cooled the room to 17o in about 3 hours. It also acts like a fan blowing cool air and the oscillating function is really good. There are a number of settings and timing options to suite all requirements. It is compact but quite heavy! Noise wise, yes it is a bit noisy - it is an air conditioner! but it is no noisier than the 3 fans we used to have going. If you are looking for a super silent cool air system then this is not for you. If you want a brilliant little air con unit at a great price I would highly recommend.

  Save us during the heatwave with a new born

  The UK heatwaves are horrible. Our houses are built to trap warmth, but when a heatwave hits, our homes become unbearable.In steps this, which not only cools your home but dehumidifies it as well. This was a literal life saver this year, as a heatwave hit with a 2-week-old baby at home.Downsides are:- Noisy, but this is to be expected- Short exhaust tube (easily replaced)- Display is on the top, so cannot be seen across the room- Sometime won't turn on, unless you unplug it from 10 seconds first
