The Prem-I-Air 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner offers tailor made indoor climate control. This 3 in 1 unit boasts air conditioning, dehumidifier and fan options. This model can be controlled using the Wifi Control Option, it also features a remote control and programmable 24 hour timer. The Wifi Function is simple to operate using the connection to your Home/Office Wifi Network, simply download the app to your smart device and it’s ready to use. Using the app allows you to remotely operate the unit whilst away from home and the advanced programming gives you total control and flexibility. (Compatible with most smart home automation devices). The unit has an impressively high BTU rating of 8,000 which is ideal for effectively cooling large spaces from 10-15m2 in size and a dehumidifying capacity of 21.8L a day. This space saving, self-contained unit is straight to use out of the box and doesn’t require any permanent installation, 4 durable castor wheels and integrated side handles allow for easy mobility meaning the unit can be moved from room to room as and when required. - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 May 2021Not Suitable for Rooms with Hinged WindowsI bought this product to help with cooling our bedroom at night.When it arrived I was surprised to find it had a window kit (for the hot exhaust) that was only suitable for sliding windows. I contacted the seller and they told me I could return it - but had to pay for the return at around £20 including insurance. A bit disappointed with this considering the product description says "This space saving, self-contained unit is straight to use out of the box and doesn’t require any permanent installation, 4 durable castor wheels and integrated side handles allow for easy mobility meaning the unit can be moved from room to room as and when required."

The pipe holder slides off a bit too easily so I'm going to tape it to secure. Other than that it is a bit noisy but not excessive. Worth being cool on a hot day

The way the warm air is discarded is through a pipe from the back. That's fine apart from how shockingly bad it attaches to the back of the unit and does come off most times we use it

Only downside is that the thing is LOUD. You can hear the vibrations of this thing all through the house on the low fan speed setting.

True.Highly recommended buy one.

The problem of this AC is that noise is too loud and does not seem to work. I was using it in a small garden office 8sqm and temperature would come down at all. I returned it but not sure if all devices are like this or mine had the issues. This is a big item so not easy/cheap to return. Hope this helps.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2021It does what it's meant toYe, it's a little noisy, but this is an air con unit and they are noisy. Bought this a few months ago before the "big Summer rush" happens. First time using it and I have to say that I'm impressed by the ability to cool the office (the office has a black felt room and is a heat magnet). The vent hose is quite short so order up an extension. The supplied vent kit is only good for top/bottom opening windows so you'll need to think about getting a side opening extension kit if that's what you need. It's all alexed up so in the morning I just tell alexa to switch it on and my office is all cooled down before I walk out to start work. This is a budget unit, it does what it needs to do and does it efficiently. I'll be getting another when it comes back into stock. Oh and sleep mode just dims the light on the unit, it doesn't make the unit quiter.

- Does this require a Air Conditioner venting duct hose extension kit or is one supplied as part of the unitA short one was supplied with mine.
- Does this product need anything else to work like outside hose or water added or can I just plug it in thank you KateJust plug it in AFTER you read all the instructions. My daughter in law didn’t and ended up with a large puddle on her landing. It’s a great machine, very impressive.
