- Is this an air-conditioner or just a cooler - slightly confused with the description?There is no refrigerant in this machine. It is a simple evaporative cooler air blows over a container of water containing a frozen ice block it. comes with 2 freezer air blocks to blow out cooled air. It is a simple evaporative cooler air blows over a container of water containing a frozen ice block it. comes with 2 freezer air blocks to blow out cooled air. It is not very effective, at cooling you unless you sit directly in front of it will all settings on high I actually find it very difficult to slide the water container and both frozen blocks into the unit. Even with a single block, you have to learn by trial and error the correct way to position the block to allow it to slide easily into the Evaporative cooler unit. so to be clear this is not an air conditioner. not even close to being as effective as a refrigerated air conditioner finally, it doesn't have or need a flume any liquid collected by the unit when using the Dehumidifier function is collected in the water bin, which when full needs to be emptied. see less

- Does the pifco p40013 air conditioner come with a window seal for the exhaust pipe and the user manual? i just received mine without both of these :(I don’t know given that I reviewed the P400015 and this doesn’t have an exhaust pipe.
