Product Description

The MeacoCool family of portable air conditioners are designed for use in the home or the office to provide personal comfort cooling during the summer months. The air conditioners work by drawing the warm humid air from the room over a cold surface which cools and dries the air simultaneously. The cold air is blown out of the front of the portable air conditioner whilst the warm, humid air is expelled via a 1.8m long exhaust duct. Removing the hot, humid air from the room reduces the relative humidity which means you have less of the sticky feeling that makes it hard for us to feel cool and comfortable during the summer months.

Perfect for use in the bedroom, living room or in the office

  • Where does the exhaust pipe go on the unit itself? Id assume it goes on the back but i can't see anything circular on the picture.
It ducts out the back, easy to attach pipe
  • How do you order the alternative window kit? I do not have a sash window

It works fine. I also have another air con unit in the bedroom, and also just hang the vent on the handle, with the window slightly open, ofc. Again, no problems so far, in over a years usage. I do have vent fitting bits of plastic that came with both of the units, but I've been too lazy to drill any holes and mount them :) If I were to bothered, I would fix the plastic vent mountings to the upvc windows using screws, and have the windows slightly open, as I do currently. Hope this helps, Best regards. see less
  • Does this unit have a heater mode for the winter?
    Yes
  • Would the window kit work on a sash window?
It only works with sliding windows so providing your slide, it'll work.
