- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 June 2019Don’t waste your moneyI bought this model and what a waste of timeIt ran for two hours in my living room and never dropped the temperature at allI previously a few years ago had bought a different make from BQ it cost £85.00 and was far superior to this pile of junk it made any room cold very quicklyThis unfortunately did nothing despite the very hefty price rage,I personally would advise you to choose something else
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2020It's as quiet as any AC I've ever hadThis is a really good AC unit. It is a bit of a wooshing sound but that is to be expected of any air conditioning, portable or fixed. It does not stop me sleeping and is a godsend on those humid nights. The wheels make it easy to move and the remote control makes it easy to change modes without even getting up.My husband has now made a hole in the wall so that we don't need to have the window open although it worked well like that. I just wanted it to be neater. It cools the room down quickly and keeps it at the level you are comfortable with. This model is a cut above the rest on looks alone so was worth the extra paid.Highly highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 June 2021Review Pinguino PAC EX120 SILENTThis review is for the 2021 model Pinguino PAC EX120 SILENT.Pros.Nice design and quality build.I am cooling a 136.8 m³ area, south-facing with full sun but I do have external window film to block most of the sun's heat. It does a good job cooling the area running at max. (specs mention for up to 110 m³)Supplied with an exhaust hose and various adapters all of good quality. I did however purchase a five-meter exhaust hose. The oscillating cooling vent is a great feature it really throws cold air around the room.Haven't tried real feel mode yet.Cons.The silent mode may not be quiet enough for most sleepers.Noise specs state (min. - max.) 49-53 dB(A) but it averages 59dB at two meters away running max.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2020DisapointingIt is a brilliant machine and it is very quiet compared to my last one but to be fair the last one was 180 pound worked great for a few weeks but all of a suden needed tank emptyed every 20 min refered to book book said if this happen contact delonghi he just palmed me off with rubish why would it work without tank being emptyed for weeks then all of a sudden every 20 min and why would book say con delonghi if not a prob i put system on a table with hose comming out of tank into a jug as to difficult to emty otherwise especialy when u have to do so offten and dont get me rong this works but 1000 pound is a lot of money to have to emty a jug every 20 min was nightmare when taking outside so i dont no maybe this is normal i am sure not again why say con delonghi if it was normal
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 August 2020Please do not buuThis product is complete waste of money bought it just a week ago and it is no longer cooling but blowing hot air, it did not work properly right from the beginning, please do not buy from bright sparks, i have now asked for my refund and I am told to get authorisation from the manufacturers to have it returned. Electriq is a far better product, had mine for 9yrs btu 12000 worked perfectly till it started leaking water and I decided to try this brand. It was not worth the money at all
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2019Noise level LOUDAwful machine. Extremely noisey, I have other machines that are the same btu but are 10 times more quieter than this. Will have to unfortunately now sent back
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 December 2019Inaccuracies on description,Impression that it was just plug-in I need to move from room to room and in actual fact it needs to be installed and vented through a window

Customer questions and answers
- Can this effectively cool an open-space kitchen-conservatory of 35 SQM?I have my bedroom of 20 sqm and in 7-10 min it is cool. For 35 sqm I think probably in 15 min you will feel it. I am very happy with this product, I bought it last year and till today works perfectly fine.
- Is there any difference between this unit and the EX100 apart from it being black? The energy rating on this one is lower - so will presumably cost more to run. I only have the EX100.
- what is the lowest temp setting? It would appear to be 18C.
- Is this evaporative or does it need constant draining when in use?only had to drain once in the year we have had the unit
