  Works Great but Noisy

  Keeps the bedroom nice and cool even when very hot outside. The unit is very easy to use and the remote control is very useful to turn it on and change the settings from across the room. The dehumidify function works very well and makes the room much more comfortable to be in. The timer is also a quite useful function as if you manage to get to sleep with it on, it will automatically turn itself off in the night.The only negatives are the fact that it is very noisy making it difficult to sleep whilst running, the noise is however pretty much a continuous drone other than the slightly louder noise when the cooling starts so it doesn't wake you after your asleep. You can't hear it running with headphones on but it makes watching media through speakers difficult to hear often requiring me to turn up my device near full volume when it would normally be fine around half volume.Also, exhaust tube is a little short so has to be directly under a window in order to reach.I would recommend to anyone looking to cool a hot room during the summer however its best to cool the room down during the day and then turn it off during the night in order to make getting to sleep easier.

  I've had an air con like this for years and this does the same job at half the size, its really small! Packs a punch and really does cool down a room quickly. If you cant stand noise, then stay away from mobile air con units as they are all noisy in my experience, this is not louder than any other unit.My one and only gripe, but i would still buy it again, is that the directional controls for the airflow seem to be there for show only, from one extreme to the other with no airflow direction change at all lol

  Great portable unit

  I was surprised how good this little machine is for a 9000 BTU machine and i have found it does cool things down quite quickly and obviously it’s been able to prove itself in the last couple of days with the blast of warm weather we have had. I don’t find it noisy at all; indeed it’s much quieter than my previous air con unit . So currently more than happy with my purchase and that it is doing what it says on the tin.

Smaller than I thought, it cools the room very quickly, only con is the noise, it’s quite noisy but you get used to it.I think is the best in the cheapest price range.My only con is that it doesn’t have a timer to setup turn it on, it would be nice to been able to turn it on at 6-7am so the room is cool for when you need to start the day.

  Great entry level air conditioner

  Ok. So this is my first bit of an air conditioner. Those who say it is noisy, should ask themselves what is more important- being cool or accepting a little noise?! Of course it produces noise! It has both fans combined into one. However it’s cooling ability for the two of us, when it was really hot (and indeed at any time) is second to none. Ours is running in a bedroom which is about 9m2. The bedroom has an outward opening standard double glazed window. I used the plate provided and then sealed any gaps to the outside with waterproof duck tape. With the bedroom door closed, it achieved excellent cooling at full blast in about 1 hour (when the outside temp was about 30c). The sleep function is great, as I can set it up to go for however many hours I want, with the knowledge that it will automatically turn off. It also has a dehumidifier function (which I haven’t used) and a fan only (no cooling) which I have used as is also great as a simple fan.When the a/c is being used, is consumes 1kw of power, when not, about 150/180w of power.All in all a great unit-and I did a huge amount of research before buying it. Absolutely no regrets and would but again.
