Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 July 2020DisappointingNo indication reading product description or looking at photographs that appliance required a very large hose to be ducted out of the building. In fact it stated that it was portable and required no installation !!This was very misleading and rendered the appliance unsuitable for me.This omission has wasted a lot of time and created a lot of frustration.I have now had to return the unit.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2020Very RestrictiveCompact and structurally well made. That's the good side. not enough information, well misleading really ~ can be moved from room to room~ yes it can but not be used ! for that you need a sliding window not more than 300MM above the floor in order to push a very short and fat pipe out off. O' if you have a 100MM round hole in all your room at 300MM high then YES it could be moved freely ..... And don't ring Taylor and Moore , the supply company for help!! I got charged £25 for making the call.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2020plugcame with us plug outlet that wont fit a uk socket
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 July 2020Not a great performanceMy room is right on the maximum size of 18 sq m, but at this size the unit really struggles to provide effective cooling on a hot day
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 August 2020DisappointingThis is my first review on here, as usually I don’t care enough to bother. This product is very disappointing. It fails to do the one purpose it’s built for, which is to cool down the room. And, yes I am using it correctly.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2020Only suitable to use with sliding windowsThe description of this unit made no mention of the fact that the air discharge arrangements can only be used with sliding windows. My windows are hinged, so the unit is totally useless. I cannot repackage it, and require the supplier to arrange collection. I suggest that you take immediate steps to make this limitation clear in your description. Since I wrote this review I have received another similar air conditioning unit, unasked for, so that I now have two units for you to collect. I do not have the facilities to send them back; please help me by collecting them.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2021Fine if you live near an airport.Like most, the noise level is something of an issue. There are two speeds F1 and F2 and if you listen REAL HARD you are just about able to tell the difference. That difference is LOUD and VERY LOUD. Cant see this being used in a sleep setting without earplugs! The cooling experience is actually quite good, although even on the (slow) speed you could almost fly a kite indoors. I am wondering if there is an adjustment inside somewhere that allows regulation of the fan speed. Not ready to open it up yet so I'll make do with the arctic hurricane for now.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2020CHEAPER ELSEWHEREIf you want to save about £100 then google the same model and find it elsewhere, as I did after buying from here! good AC unit overall! don't expect it to blow out 31 degrees air, it feels capped at 25 at most! but the 16 degree air feels amazing! have had running for about 3 months and haven't had any issues so far! nor have I had to empty the water container yet :)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 June 2020Quiet and gets the job doneBought to cool the conservatory. Cools really well and is fairly quiet
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2020Best decision everAs a person who struggles in the heat this was definitely one of my best purchases. It works great in the bedroom where I have been using it to cool the room down before trying to sleep. It is noisy but I can sleep easier with the noise better than I can in the heat of London’s summer heatwaves
