Customer Review
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2021Very clever designWe bought this for entertaining in the garden, during the Pandemic. It's a very clever design but I certainly couldn't erect it without a second person. But then I'm 83 and have never been known for dexterity! The instructions miss one important point, at the beginning: MAKE SURE THE FRAME IS FULLY EXTENDED before you move to the next step. Grateful thanks to the owner who posted here that 2 x 2L bottles of water provide an excellent alternative to using Sand in the special containers, to stabilise. (Tesco do a really cheap pack of 6 x 2L. - if you can pick it up!) Recommended! (PS, We've had it up for 2 days now and it hasn't flown away...yet.)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2021Absolute rubbish.Erected the Gazebo on the 31/03/21. Easy to put up. But that's where the positive feed stops. Once up and it looked impressive but as we sat beneath it, that's when we saw the problems. The Gazebo has Velcro anchor stitching and four out of eight patched were coming apart, However the worse was to be spotted. as we checked around we noticed one of the black covers on the support bars was loose. On inspection we then saw the support bar was cracked across the privet nut "see photograph". Spend more money and get a better quality. This is an update.. 5/7/21.. This product is 100 % crap... Its now broken and collapsed.. Its absolute rubbish... AVOID AT ALL COST...
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 December 2020GuttedDelivered yesterday and already broken after one use.....not fit for purpose. Absolutely gutted as bought to shelter family on xmas day
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2021TidyI bought this as a replacement for my elderly gazebo, which was probably 10 years old. It was a similar popup gazebo which cost me about £85. It had finally had enough of me and gave up the ghost.Coming to the setup of this new one: I know how gently you need to treat these contraptions as any kind of thoughtless heavy handiness will result in damage. So I was careful and took my time. I managed to get the canopy on without too much agro- the instructions weren’t overly helpful but I got there in the end. This new one is head and shoulders above my old one in terms of sturdiness. The overall feel of the frame is noticeably better quality (thicker frame). The push button height adjustment is very helpful. The central push-up section was a little stiff. I’m over 6ft tall and had to lower the height a bit to allow me to attach the center section of the ceiling to the securing pole. The canopy attachments are purely Velcro and unlike my old one, they have no corner sections to help tie them down. So I will be finding an alternative to support the Velcro.Haven’t got it down yet but sure it’ll be grand.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 May 2021A GREAT IMPROVEMENT ON MY PREVIOUS ONE.Had my previous gazebo for approx. 15 years and worked well enough but as it took to bit (about 30 interlocking tubes) it was a pain to assemble, disassemble and store. This one is simplicity itself. Still quite heavy but wheels on storage case help. Once you get the knack of it it’s easy to put up and take down but as I am in my 80s still required help. Really pleased with the look and the performance. My son in law said all we needed now was a clown and an elephant!!! Referring to the pointy top.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2021Two out of four legs broken on arrival! The legs are made of strong metal, we were impressed until we noticed that two of the four locking clips were broken. They're made of plastic, not strong enough to cope. When I tried to return the item they expect us to pay postage! Avoid this seller at all costs!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 July 2021Nice gazebo, easy to erectExtremely impressed with this gazebo. Easy to put up, very rain resistant, sturdy and folds away neatly into its own carry case with wheels.second time I used this, we had a rain, the canopy was too wet so we had to leave it up overnight before we could collapse it down and put away.It did rain heavily overnight, and the weight of the water on the top caused two sides to completely collapse, 5 of the struts snapped in half.I contacted the seller and they are arranging a replacement frame. No quibble, no fuss. Very impressed.Read some more reviews once this had happened and found others had experienced the same issue.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2021Brilliant gazeboGreat Gazebo, bought to replace the last one that's been used 3 times and fell to bits. This one is sturdy and so easy to put up. Took 2 people less than 10 minutes to put up and get the canopy on. We bought extra pegs to keep the legs secure but also used the weight bags with 2 litre bottles in them. Very sturdy when put together and was great for my recent 50th. Even managed to reuse the side panels from the old gazebo. Highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2021Piece of mind on leaving up in low mode to protect against windProbably the best Gazebo IHave purchased ( 3 off ) this gazebo lowers down to its lowest height with click of buttons on legs plus it drops down below 5 ft fencing and you can still stand up or sit round table comfortably. It is also waterproof and I think it is well made plus value for money. I have had this gazebo up on patio for over a month just reducing height at night for safety reasons . However, pull centre lever take down completely in high winds.. Have also used proper metal fasteners to screw down chrome tie clips for extra protection in winds .
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2021The white metal support snapped after only one week.Complete waste of money. I bought this in March but did not assemble it until 2 weeks ago when the weather turned summery. At first I loved it, but I noticed that it kept leaning to one side and I had to keep straightening it and reinserting the pins in the ground. Then yesterday I noticed that one of the white bars under the canopy had snapped, rapidly followed by another and another.Cannot find anywhere on Amazon website to contact the seller.
Customer questions and answers
- Does this have sides? No, but you can order sides separately
- Are the weights already weighted? The Sand Bags need filling with Either Sand or Stones Thank you
- I can’t get this gazebo upBest done with more than 1 person but I've been able to get it up by myself without any real difficulty. It's a very clever and simple design.
- Can you fill the bags with water instead of sand? No, sand only as bags are a cotton based material so will leak if water used!! Though you might want to wet sand in as heavier than dry.
