  Perfect sturdy gazebo

  Easy to erect with 2 people. Has been up for a month and we have had a lot of wind and heavy rain and the gazebo withstands this. Perfect size for Helsinki lazy spa. Waterproof and looks good. I intend on keeping it up all year round

  Poor to say the least...

  I did a lot of research into which gazebo would be the best for me. I bought a lay-z-spa and wanted something that I could leave up for a few weeks at a time in good weather. Having seen this one and read reviews, I thought I’d give it a go. At £200 I would at least expect the frame to be robust and the fabric on the roof to be solid. After putting it up, it became apparent that even the slightest breeze would cause this gazebo problems. I weighed it down with 4 sand bags and used all of the provided guide ropes. After a couple of weeks of fair British weather in a relatively enclosed garden, the gazebo had rubbed the reinforced points on the roof, so much so that several small holes formed through both layers of material. To say that I’m disappointed is a massive understatement. I’ve now reinvested the refund in something far more robust (a wooden structure).

  We bough this gazebo to fit in the space at the back of our house, between the wall of the house, a thick privet hedge and the wall to a park.Went up nice and easy, seemed pretty sturdy in a light breeze. Slightly windier later on and the gazebo blew over - not a failing on it's part as we hadn't weighted it down. A few scuffs, taped up with gorilla tape and all was well....The next test was 40mph+ winds. The gazebo stands just proud of the Park wall and typically the wind blows across the park towards the house. This time we had weighted it down with a work bench and a couple of bricks. This wasn't totally successful as the work bench was blown over, the bricks blown away and the front leg of the gazebo was bent - shouldn't have left it up in such conditions so totally our fault.We've since changed our plan, replaced the leg, orientated the work bench in a different direction, and weighted the entire edge of the park facing side with 160kg (8x20L containers of water) and a workbench.It's been pretty breezy since but it's not shifted an inch. Considering all the abuse it's taken, i'm really impressed.When there is heavy winds forecast, we'll drop the legs to reduce the surface area the wind can hit, but i'm fairly confident sheltered behind the wall and with that weight it will be fine.   Sturdy and waterproof gazebo

  The gazebo came a day late. We were using it for a barbecue. We had a bit of trouble getting the cover on it and trying to it up it wasn’t exactly obvious from the paper instructions that come with the gazebo. It took us about an hour and a half to put it up . Once it’s up it’s great been up for five days with wind and rain and had no bother with it.would recommend it.

  It is fit for purpose as a small temporary shelter in our garden highly water resistant and easy to errect. Would have benifitted coming with more guy lines to secure not just 4. It is not very stable in wind with just 4 guy lines supplied to attach top/roof bars to gazebo leg weights or ground but not enough line to secure further. We haven't even seen any bad weather yet but had a little wind one day and it struggled. The weights that come with gazebo are not fit for purpose to secure structure, I recommend buying your own, but bear in mind to ensure you buy some that do not interfere with side panels due to zip. Some of the velcro on the panels cae off along the bottom but lucky it zips u too.Side panels are way too long on any other surface other than grass as a grass surface would allow you to peg bottom of panels outwards from frame to grass but just dangles too freely on concrete even on highest height setting gathering over a foot length of material mucky off floor that gets in the way. Could use sand bags in a sausage in future to fix this and roll up the ends to weigh each panel down straight and relatively neat. As the panels zip at sides this is an issue as zip creeps open on sides as not meeting at end due to being too long and need to be rolled or folded on floor. Design could have benifitted a system to adjust panel length even if it was with extra velcro strips. If there was more guyline I could have strung it up to frame through peg wholes in conjuction to velcro straps on the edges to hold up at the legs.Overall will do for now and is much better with sides off. When sides are attached the material does well to keep the cold chill away making the area inside enjoyable to stay in even on a cooler night, just slightly too long for purpose.

  Blew over and the plastic window split which maybe the reason it blew over.

  Despite being heavily weighted down it blew over and one of the plastic windows split after a couple of days this may be one of the reasons it blew over the wind may have got inside.

  Really happy with this gazebo. I don't know if it's waterproof as it hasn't rained yet.

  This was much easier to put up than a previous similar gazebo and seems much stronger too. I have high hoped that this one will withstand wind and rain having lost two others to bad weather. It's early days but so far I am impressed at how sturdy it feels. Fingers crossed i remain impressed when the next bout of bad weather arrives!

  Very Happy With This Gazebo

  Great gazebo, very sturdy, well built and looks great up. Easy enough to erect with two people, although there are no instructions included in the package. Watched the online Youtube video, which wasn't exactly constructive, but it did give a brief outline on initial setup. The frame seems sturdy and we have bolted it to our decking. The material is strong, and well reinforced where the frame touches it. It only takes a few minutes to add or remove each side, and the velcro and zips seem to be substantial enough to last a good while. Early days yet of course, but I really cannot think of any fault that would be worthy of mention.

  Fantastic hot tub shelter

  Bought this for my Lay-z-spa hot tub after the actual branded one we purchased, blew away in the wind and was torn to shreds within 2 days of being erected.This was much easier to put up and gives proper all weather protection AND easy to put down in a high wind to stop it getting damaged, like the previous shelter we had. We just drop it down to half height and re- tie it in high winds and it’s great. Fully waterproof with the sides down, but you can still let light in with the two windowed sides.We bought the 2.5 metre one and think it’s fabulous. Great value for money as the lay -z -spa tent cost more, and was much less robust. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another and can’t recommend it enough. It’s worth the extra cost, don’t buy the cheaper copies!
