    Flimsy waste of money
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 February 2021
I wouldnt bother buying this. Absolute waste of £50. The gazebo is anything but sturdy and it even comes with a cross bar you can fit to add protection against high winds. By the time I had fitted the 3 elements together it was more curved than a bendy banana and offered about as much rigidity as a string of candy floss. The canopy itself is ill-fitting and so whenever it rains the water pools at the bottom of the canopy and forces the canopy to unstuck itself from around the frame, no matter how tight you assemble this!I spent a whole week knocking the rain pockets out of the canopy with a broom stick, soaking myself in the process each time.In the second week we had a night of constant rain (January 2021) which proved to be the downfall of this fatally flawed piece of crap. It buckled under the weight of water it was simply unable to shed. I came down in the morning to find the crumpled mess you see in the photos. The metal rods bent and buckled very easily as you can see.Dont waste your money on this. It's garbage.

    Better updated model.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 May 2018
this is an updated review. My original review had mentioned about avoiding the purchase of this item after I felt it fell below standard. I purchased the original Gazebo 2 years ago and never assembled it till May 18. I contacted Amazon and they have sent a replacement. What a difference the negatives I had about the gazebo, they are all gone. Not a bad tent for the money. Bear in mind it is only for occasional use. I still wouldn’t recommend leaving it erected for more time than needed for.

    Utter rubbish!!!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 May 2017
Rubbish! Do not touch this item with a barge pole. Very flimsy despite not managing to get it together fully as there was one pole missing from the box. Also there was a drink spillage stain on the canvass roof signifying that this item has been opened and used before being delivered to me. I now have to return this item and due to it's weight It will cost over £20 to return yet Amazon will only contribute £4.99 to postage??? This is wrong on so many levels.

    Advise against purchasing this item.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 July 2020
Started off great. Easy to assemble. However, after some wind and rain last night the bar at the top of the gazebo snapped and bent, because of this it put strain on the side bars. This then snapped the side bars and tore at the material holding to the bars. Not safe to use. I definitely wouldn't advise purchasing this product!

    fell apart
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 May 2017
Very poor quality. Thin plastic material, slightest bit if wind or breeze and the velcro tabs rip off. Bought for a party and spent most of the day taping and reattaching. Most of its fell apart wouldnt waste your money.

1 man job putting it up.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 March 2017
The frame for this all clicks together, very handy and makes it a one man job to erect... the velcro straps that attach the roof covering to the frame are just lightly stitched to the covering, ripped before I even went to put it on..

no good if there is ANY wind rubbish
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018
Brought this just to use for a camping weekend, all seemed okay,It was easy to set up but then we had a small amount of wind that ripped the Velcro hooks from the sides then that was it down hill from there,Again we had a small gust and as it tried to lift the whole thing it bent the centre bar,Would no recommend unless you do not get any wind what so ever,Shame £50 lasted 10 mins,

Sent a second hand, previously used gazebo!!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 October 2021
Item arrived on time, however once opens it was clear this was a second hand item. There was mud, drink spillages and other stains on 2 of the panels, fraying to the main part of the gazebo and 2 bars were bent. Wouldn’t arrange a refund and said I had to print off and arrange my own return.Amazon didn’t seem to care about reimbursing and despite explaining the gazebo was for an event in two days time, they wouldn’t process a refund until I returned their second hand product.DISGUSTING PRODUCT AND SERVICE.Will now be out of pocket as I have to buy a second gazebo.

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2018
I put this gazebo up on a sunny day with mild wind and it was fine for 3 days.. however at the first sign of rain the roof started collecting water (it was pulled and roped as tight as it could go) the stitching started leaking and then the light metal frame buckled in several places soaking what i was working on underneathif you live in the uk or anywhere that it rains you need to avoid this item!

Customer questions and answers

  • Hiya - can i purchase new plastic corners for the poles ? The sort of 3 way ones at top ? One of mine has broken :(
Your lucky it was only one, I honestly wouldn't bother the rest of the poles will go pretty quick, mine didn't even last the assembly.
  • can it be set up on astro turf ?
Hello Nigel, As long as the turf is not on concrete, ie just hard core and sand, there should be no problem. I would use long thin skewers (12") to pushthrough to secure the rope lines. Be warned, do not erect if you are expecting any Wind. Mine disintegrated as soon as we had some wind. Hope that helps. • is it sturdy
If your garden is sheltered it will probably be sturdy enough. However ours is quite exposed and we have had a few windy days and quite a few of the securing ties have ripped off and have had to be repaired.
  • Is this a pop up gazebo or a tent that requires more effort to put it up?
This is not a pop up gazebo and is difficult to assemble on your own. I would recommend two people minimum. The frame is quite sturdy and easy to assemble, although there are many numbered parts which need to be connected in sequence.
