- is this item self assembly ?The upright pole and parasol are one piece. The only assembly is to bolt the short support, that holds the upright pole, to the cross base. This is straight forward and takes no more than 5 min. The upright pole is then lowered into this support. and the parasol is then assembled. However, before this is done, the … see more The upright pole and parasol are one piece. The only assembly is to bolt the short support, that holds the upright pole, to the cross base. This is straight forward and takes no more than 5 min. The upright pole is then lowered into this support. and the parasol is then assembled. However, before this is done, the cross base requires weighting down with the 4 Base Stand Weights which have to be filled with sand. This requires sand to be purchased and the filling takes about 30min but is straightforward. The parasol is excellent and is the same quality as those found in holiday resorts. see less
- What is the diameter of the base?The base is 800mm square but approx 1006 diameter
- Can i see a photo of the cover? is it the same material as the parasol? or is it a flimsy pvc style?The parasol is made from a fabric. The cover is made from a waterproof plasticised material, that is very strong, zipped, easy to use and durable.
- Can I also buy the weights for this parasol from you?We bought weights for this from a different supplier. Ended up sending the parasol back because it was too tall and not what we expected.
