This banana parasol is exactly what I needed, it provides shade but whilst the base is far out of the way. Allows me to host a seating area with a bbq without having to dodge a giant pole!Quality of the umbrella is great, and it's super easy to assemble I'm chuffed.

However it’s slightly too big for where we wanted it in the garden, sometimes you need to see it in situ rather than just the measurements also it was too heavy for my disabled wife to manoeuvre on her own. So I started the refund process… £40 to return….. no mention of that on the sales listing….. make sure you definitely want it….
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 July 2021Be great on a sailing boat.Its big. But you need to buy the ground weights. This thing is like a massive sail. It blows over with each little bit of wind without them. So dont fart near it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2021It’s massive, make sure you buy the base weights.Was a little difficult to get the locking pins to line up with the holes but not impossible. Because it’s so big you definitely need the additional weights to keep it from blowing over.

Super strong and much bigger than I expected, I thought it was going to be the size of a standard parasol but I was amazed to see it covered everyone, I would recommend this to anyone, easy to fix together, screw holes to secure it to the deck, thank you so much!! ??

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2021Unsuitable in a breeze. Part broke within 2 weeks.The parasol turns vertical when there is even just a slight breeze. There is nothing to secure the parasol in the horizontal position. One of the securing pieces has broken off in less then 2 weeks; this is one of 2 securing screws which holds the parasol frame into the base tube.

- Is it height adjustableYou can adjust the angle. It’s not really possible to adjust the height. It gives very good shade and we are pleased with it
- Can you fit this umbrella into a standard stand or do you have to purchase a specific stand for it to fit in?Comes with a stand, which then needs weights applied. I don't think the normal ones would be able to keep it upright, even if it fitted.
