The umbrella cover is supported by 8 steel ribs and the steel tube supporting the parasol is as thick as 48mm. The base uses a cross shape as the foundation, please be sure to add weight to enhance stability before use.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2021Poor qualityProduct arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. But if you're thinking of buying please be aware of the following:1. You will need to bolt it down or it WILL topple over. Easy enough on a wooden deck, holes are provided for this but no screws or other hardware.2. The materials and manufacturing tolerances are poor. Within hours, some of the plastic parts cracked and I have been forced to re-enforce with jubilee clips.3. When the item is in the stowed, down position, if you don't release the lower strut, the plastic will break. Luckily I spotted before it completely split and was able to fix. In the upward position this item is not loaded in the same way so no issue.4. The solar panel bracket cracked immediately for no apparent reason. I suspect cheap materials.5. The screws which secure the base tube to the parasol and are supposed to prevent it spinning are useless, I have had to drill holes in the parasol upper tube to combat this as it will spin in the slightest breeze.6. All the plastic brackets are very cheaply made and I suspect this item will not withstand prolonged use. You get what you pay for I guess.7. The item is approx 7ft high when stowed meaning you have to be pretty tall to fit the rain cover or stand on a ladder or similar.If you can live with these faults it works ok but it's only been a week so far. Might be better off spending a bit more to get improvement on quality and longevity

I expect the rocking is for safety to reduce the likelihood of being blown over. However, it makes me feel a little motion sick if I focus on it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 June 2021It's ok.Parasol arrived on the day I was told it would. Box was slightly damaged, but parasol itself was ok. After having the parasol up and working for 2 days, we binned the all its packaging, only to find out later that day that one row of led's have stopped working and here and there the thread on the parasol, seemed to be not finished off, having loose thread hanging down. The cover that came with it also gas poor stitching and the zip is already coming apart.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2021Leaked !Bought for a large cantilever parasol and filled with water to weight down. It within a couple of days 2 of the quarters were leaking . Did contact supplier who said they needed lot of details that were on the box or batch number etc for it to be looked into but Unfortunately I had thrown the box away as had bought couple of months earlier but hadn’t used yet so just kept them and just have to keep refilling when in use .
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 June 2021Parasol weightsIf you use sand as the ballast, it must be very dry, the filler hole is very small. I used water originally as a ballast and water had seeped out, so really sand is the most ideal.

- Do these connect together or just sit on the cross bar?The base is divided into four parts, which are not connected to each other, but are placed on top to stabilize the umbrella.
- Can you bolt this umbrella to paving slabsI believe so, there are holes in the feet. It’s very top heavy so I would use long rawlbolts to go deep.
- Can you purchase a weighted base for this umbrellaSorry our weighted bases were sold out. You can use stones or something to replace.
- Has anyone used it in the rain? It says waterproof but wondered if it keeps everything dry in the British rain?It is able to cope with small showers but not full on rain. It’s is a shade for the sun.
