It is 6 inches smaller than advertised across its widest points!It is made with very thin gauge tube and the loose fitting joint means the umbrella wobbles about above the joint.I think it is much too expensive for it's cheap construction.I don't see it lasting more than one year in the garden.I have a 2.7 meter umbrella I got from Aldi for £44 and it is much better built and true to size.

My husband is 6 foot tall, it allows him to stand under it..So simple to put together,and very good value. The crank handle is easy to work even with dexterity problems like me. The tilt is great it gives adequate shade for a group of four people. So pleased with this buy.

Wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised at the quality for under £70. A really generous size canopy which covered a large size table (6-8 seater). Seems sturdy - but we haven't really had much wind as yet - time will tell. We've paid a fortune in the past for 'quality' but I think this is great for the price, so I don't think we'll bother getting an alternative, as this one does the job perfectly well.

Well worth buying one, and you will see. Prompt delivery well packed, easy to fit, but you need a good, solid base, to ho!d up in the wind

However, the part of the pole where the 2 parts connect isn't that strong and I would say unsafe in the wind as it comes apart and isn't strong enough to stay together.You will need to purchase the base (Has to be a heavy one).
