I keep it folded and under a cover and it stands in a heavyweight base near the corner of the house, so I was a bit surprised that the wind knocked it over on a windy day. Something to bear in mind if you leave it in an exposed location. Fortunately the aluminium pole didn’t get bent

It is lightweight at 3.5kg which does make me wonder if it is a bit too lightweight as the thickness of the aluminium is a bit concerning. Hope it withstands a bit of a breeze.

- Are you sure the pole is 40mm diameter and not 38mm, the industry standard is 38mm which means your product is not compatible with bases?I’m a customer, don’t work for the company or Amazon so can only go by description which says 40mm. However it fits in my standard base
- What is the tallest height of the parasol?Description doesn’t give height. The box it comes in is 112cm and the pole is in 2 pieces, so just over 2m. However it’s not height adjustable - use the tilt mechanism to provide better shade
- How much does this parasol weigh please?Box says 3.5kg
- Is this parasol waterproof?Yes this parosol is water repellent although I use a water resistant cover when it does rain heavy
