  Just arrived and unpacked it, it's a beautiful parasol - really good quality. Take note you have to have a 50mm parasol base as the pole is thicker than other parasols. We already had a larger size base so it's perfect.

  So far, so fab

  I bought this partly because of a) the strenght of the reviews and b) the colour.Obviously, the day after it arrived, the weather broke, so I have only used it once, but this was on the hottest day of the year so far. I was amazed at the protection it provided from the heat, it was nearly 30 deg that day. Despite its size, the umbrella is quite eay to lift and move position. The pulley system is very easy to use and the open ended support hook is a simple device to loop the cord over and keep it out of the way. The colour is gorgeous! I did need to get a stand that would take the wider pole, but I like the robustnes of the thicker pole. It looks to be well made and the whole design has been well thought through. So far, I am delighted with this. just need the sun to return and I am sorted!

  Quality Parasol

  Great communication from the seller, my parasol arrived 2 days after I placed my order which was several days before the estimated delivery date. It is a very well made, robust umbrella. I bought the Dove Grey which is a lovely soft grey and compliments our garden furniture. It has a good strong pole, a point to note that the pole requires that you have a 50mm diameter hole in your table and base. I look forward to years of use from it and think it a good investment and value for money.

  Cream large parasol 8 pegs

  Brilliant is as exactly as it says love the 8 pegs too and wood and brass with the leather structure at ends of fabric for support looks really nice I have cream and it's very sturdy too I'm really really pleased . Looks elegant and classy the fabric is a lovely colour shade of cream. I have to say it would also go with any garden table set too this pole is 48mm so large, however, as the structure is wood it works with a set but I'm sure at then of the day it would go with most sets just match your fabric on parosol is my suggestion it will bring everything together and offer maximum protection from sun too.

  Great Looking Parasol.

  A perfect fit for my large garden table centre. The pale (dove) grey is lovely and the whole item looks extremely well made and finished. It is pretty heavy, which I hope will keep it stable in ordinary breezes and the pulley mechanism is very smooth in use. The blonde wood colour and brass also looks good so I am encouraged to look after it and gradually replace my cheaper items with these if this one wears well.

  Beautiful wooden sun parasol

  Beautiful wooden sun parasol. The colour is a stunning deep orange which gives a lovely summery feel.Superb customer service too: the top finial arrived broken and was replaced within 48 hours - and that's delivered to France!Update November 2017: after a steaming hot South of France summer, the fabric hasn't faded at all. A really excellent quality product.Update June 2019: the parasol is still in fantastic condition. We've just ordered another one!

  An attractive and effective sunshade

  To be fair, we have only just erected it, having purchased it several months ago in anticipation of a rush to purchase such things later in the season. It looks good and is smart and stylish. Based on only one real opportunity to "test" it. it worked well as a provider of shade. My one criticism (and the reason for awarding only 4 stars) is that it needs a cleat on the pole to wrap all the spare cord around after you have pulled up the umbrella. Without that, a metre or more of cord is left hanging around and looks untidy. I have ordered a cleat as none of those available at hardware shops were big enough to cope with the length of cord.

  Best Parasol Ever .

  This parasol is probably The Best I’ve ever bought. We have a much loved wrought iron table and chair set . The one thing to take note of is the circumference of the pole ?. We did need to plane it down to fit !!!! But we knew a good chippy and . I so desperately did not want to return it . It’s such a well built and finished parasol and it looks beautiful . Worth every penny. Service was excellent too.

  Definitely worth buying

  Bought this parasol a couple of months ago and extremely pleased with it, chose the black parasol and it looks very smart with our patio set. Unfortunately we had a problem with it and had to return. The service we got was excellent from the time we contacted Olive Grove (maetrading) to them resolving the issue and replacing it for us. This was all done in under 7 days, so a big thank you to Mark and Jean who organised this. Would definitely use this company again, very happy with replacement parasol and fantastic service from start to finish.

  Very poor customer service!!!!!

  the pole was too big for my table but provider did nothing to bring about good and satisfactory outcome. I enquired about exchanging for another of their parasols but was instructed that there would be no refund until parasols was returned. The cost of P&P would have been more than the cost of the parasol. Consequently I had to pay to have it adapted. Very poor customer service. I would not patronise this company again or recommend to others.
