- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2020Very good for shadeOur old gazebo had given up the ghost and having fitted new decking recently we decided to go for a parasol instead. Gives good shade and can be easily tilted when the sun has moved round. Covers a large area and also shelters us from the "occasional" shower of rain. It is a nice neutral colour and hopefully will not fade too much. We put it down in windy weather and the mechanism is very easy to use. Just turn the handle one way for up and the other for down. We do tie it up when it is down with a long brown shoelace which matches. Struggled slightly to put it together but should have thought about it first!

However, will have to wait and see how it fairs over longer time. Our worry is that it’s much lighter than our old one but time will tell.

When the sun comes out I'll get a better idea of just how this Garden Parasol with tilt facility functions. However, on assembly and a brief test before the wind got a bit blowy I'm well pleased. I coupled it up with a 10kg resin parasol pedestal base (Rattan style) from another supplier.

I was sent one described as khaki, which is a dull, greenish brown. The photo was deceptive as it looked quite bright . They are now saying the colour is khaki/Sand,which it was not described as being when I ordered it. If it had said Khaki I would not have ordered it

I bought this tilting parasol, as well as the matching non-tilting parasol which is brilliant, but sent it back because it was of an inferior quality, when I took it out of the base there was a dent on the pole; it was aluminium and not as heavy or sturdy as the non-tilting one. BEWARE THOUGH... I was under the impression the postage £33.00 would be refunded but am still waiting...
