Just enough lights to brighten up the area at night.Good quality product, however mine has arrived slightly damaged, but not enough to effect its usage.I paid for the better delivery service and it turned up within 24hrs of me ordering online
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2020Broken, no refundThe cord inside my parasol snapped on June 25th this year causing the parasol to collapse on me whilst in use injuring me. I contacted the seller asking for a refund or replacement and sent pictures of damage as requested. No reply. It's been 2 months and no resolution or additional contact from the seller. DO NOT BUY. Beautiful product but expensive ornament!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2020Product no seller yes!Firstly I’d like to say the seller is very friendly helpful if they sell other items I’d have no problem buying from them again but the product omg first one arrived lights do not work so they refunded me £40 (it was £115) then after a couple of uses the material rips so they send me a replacement foc no questions asked box arrived and courier had walked all over it and screws missing as holes in the box, again seller sent screws out straight away. Put the second one up lights work but the little plastic part that keeps the parasol up and in place splits and snaps. I give up haven’t even bothered asking for a return and refund. It’s feels like such a robust product and it’s quite large maybe to large and heavy to be held up by a small plastic part it’s a shame but I would not recommend this product but I would recommend the seller they have tried there best Im thinking I will have to buy something to hold the plastic part together and hold it up if that’s possible as it’s not a replaceable part I can’t be bother to return it and I don’t want a third one sending out! I’ve given up! It feels like I’m not destined to have a fully function parasol!

The lights are a nice touch and work fine but we haven’t used them in anger yet. The rain cover is also a nice touch as it not only keeps the rain off the parasol but gives everything together on windy days. My issue was that a part broke as I put it up for the first time. I emailed the company direct and they couldn’t have more accommodating. I had an immediacy response and a new part was sent out to me. Great customer experience.

The lights within the umbrella are not bright but are a nice feature and operate with an on/off switch contained on one of the struts. They are charged by a solar unit that sits on top of the umbrella. The canvas umbrella does have movement when there is a breeze. Bought some base plates separately as they are needed to hold the parasol stand down when umbrella is fully extended. Comes with a decent cover. A decent purchase.

My only uncertainty is the supporting brackets that hold the set position in place are made of plastic. Ours was broken on arrival which the company happily sent out a replacement straight away. This did take a week to arrive.I have purchased weights as this is 100% needed to keep the parasol from tipping over as it is top heavy as its supposed to be.I do really like this product, I just hope that the plastic is strong enough to withstand the test of time as this isn't a cheap product.

It is a very good value parasol, well made, easy to assemble and good looking. With the proper weights it's very stable and hasn't beeb troubled by the recent high winds.It loses the fifth star because it is fitted with solar lights and after working once when I first assembled it they haven't worked since.

- Is the actual parasol waterproof?The canopy has a water repellent coating so will easily withstand showers. For extended rainfall events we recommend retracting the parasol and protecting with the provided cover.
- Does it come with a base?No you would need to source suitable weights for the base.
- What is the whole length of the cross(stand) at the bottom of the pole please?Approx 4 feet
- What weight of base do you need to hold it down firm?Don’t know, we secured ours to the deck. I believe there is a base option to buy though.
