- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 August 2020This sun umbrella is far to heavy and big for the average gardens.My Husband and I brought this after seeing the reviews on them that said they were very good in windy condition. So we chose this one with a base , first thing we found the base was of very poor quality and thought of getting different weights.However when we tried the parasol and the base together on a great sunny afternoon we soon found out that with the slightest wind over went the parasol and weights, so it is not suitable in windy area at all .So we decided to get a smaller parasol and some different weights. Now the parasol dose not move at all in the sliest of winds despite buying extra sand bags these will not be used this summer now not as long as the parasol stays firm.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 August 2021Not half bad for the moneyLike all these reasonably priced items it could be stronger but I got what I expected and I am not unhappyI cut a 2 foot square 2" thick paving slab diagonally and it fitted between the base legs perfectly. might need a bit more weight opposite the hanging load but in a moderate gusty breeze it is o.k.overall quite pleased.

Extra weights are a must as these give stability to a robust pole with cantilever action.which is easy to operate. Very happy with my purchase and arrived very speedily.
