  Made from plastic !

  Liked that it's the rough size advertised. Dislike the quality . It's made from plastic ! Woven plastic strands . Very cheap and low quality looks . It stretches a fair bit . I have bought 4 sun sails on Amazon now and all previous ones were a nice quality material and have lasted very well . Unfortunately I tried a different brand due to availability and suffered the concqueces. Paid £28 and it's probably worth less than £10 . Will be taking down and buying a quality "material' based one as soon as they are back in stock . Disappointed in this .

  It's plastic, but has its advantages

  Its plastic yes, but unlike canvas doesn't put huge strain on your support poles during the wind. The rain just sheets off it (if hung correctly) and provides enough sun shade. From 3ft away it looks fine, only plastiky VERY close up. Unless you own a mansion with stripy lawns, this will do for you.

  Bought to cover a small courtyard and give shelter from the sun, and its perfect, an umbrella would not have worked but this was so easy to install using a tensioning kit and does the job whilst still leaving room to move round. Have ticked no water resistance only because it does say on the advert that it is not. But a bonus for cleaning it and washing it down while in position

  Looks brilliant up in the corner of our garden. Nice and cool underneath it in the sunshine. Can't comment on the water resistance as we take it in when rain is forecast or we won't be going out in the garden for a while, but seems like it would keep you dry in light rain. Material is sturdy, no loose stitching, and comes with a handy zipped case for storage

  Sail for our garden shelter

  This was perfect for what we needed. To give us some shade from the afternoon sun.It fitted the area we had to hang it well. The fittings where good quality, but I needed some further fittings for adjustment from another supplier. The overall effect was great.

  Well made , great sail

  I bought this as the sun this year was unbearable through our roof window . I wanted a temporary quick fix after receiving a quotation for £1800 for indoor sails to be made. This sail has been perfect and quite frankly I m not bothering to replace it !

  Seems good so far.Edit: 3 months later it has stretched a lot and frequently. I re-tension it but soon it is sagging in the centre again. Due &/or rain pools the middle and then runs through in a concentrated flow. I have communicated with the seller however so far, they have been very helpful .   UV Protection misleading

  This is not protective against UV it has clear holes in between the material.The discripion is misleading and should be amended as this has health implications on people like me who need to keep out of the uv rays.
