- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 May 2021Lightweight and stops the sunWe needed a sun block for our pool for the mid afternoon dunks with the kids. I thought about a gazbo but they are overpriced and the frame always gets broken so dead money for a few uses. This seamed like a far better approach. The material is effectively the same as a tent but has more of a light blocking property. I attached it to the walls by eye shield anchor bolts. String the rope though the loops and through the bots a and all done. For ease of removal I've used carabiner clips. Works well, think a slightly larger one would have been good for the pool size (1.6m by 3m) but does the job perfectly
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2021Thick SturdyMy son is getting a hot tub soon and we wanted something to use as a cover on the patio against sun or light rain , then saw these, it looked perfect, I have taken it out the bag to inspect it and its a good size it looks easy to use and fasten and the material is super, really thick and you can tell it is water resistant , maybe not in a storm but for a shower definately and will also block the sun totally, perfect for what we need and will use after for shade at BBQ's etc .

The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand.The shade was exactly as described and has been a godsend in the heatwave we’ve just had, and is standing up to the torrential rain I’m now getting. The quality of the materials was extremely good and it’s well made and robust. The ropes are strong and good quality. I would recommend that it’s a two person job to put it up, but was fairly easy. When erected it provided a very good amount of shade.Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, and would recommend both the product and seller.

Easy to install with the attached ropes and hooks.Lets you sit outside in the sum without getting sunburnt. Shortly after installing we had some strong winds but it held fast so all is good . Looking at buying another and hoping for more sunny days.

I made the mistake of spending a lot more money on her rectangular sail from the manufacturer beginning with K and that was complete rubbish. This product is really excellent with metal D corner fittings & properly stitched strong seams plus waterproof …absolutely recommend. You will need to buy the turnbuckle fittings separately

Better than nothing.Not terrible but could be a lot better.It could use 4 more hooking points on the sides.The rope, although not that bad, should be replaced with a proper paracord.For easy removal use carbines and some tensioning hooks and you're good.Coverage wise it could benefit from a bigger size for this price. The sail is thin and lightweight, the metallic loops at the ends seem to be decent enough but I don't think the actual sail will last very long...

We plan to put mug hooks up so we can just clip the metal corners of the sail directly on without tying off. But it’s fine as it is. Would recommend this product.

Easy to clean when it gets Smokey. Had it in use now for several weeks and not taken it down. Perfect to keep the water of me and the food when the rain starts. Thanks. Will buy again.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 August 2021Good for shading not so good when it’s rainingBought this product to provide some shade from sun and cover from rain for my daughters birthday party. I attached 2 sides to to side of my house and 2 sides to fence posts with a slant to allow drain water to run off in the event of rain. Worked well when it was sunny but as soon as it stated raining both bits of string on the fence posts snapped and all the water covered guests outside. Went out to buy some metal tension hooks which helped but still sagged in the middle when it rained. Overall it’s a good idea and nice product but 6x4 is probably too big and couldn’t get enough tension to be used in windy or rainy conditions.

- How do you fix the shade to wood etc? Are there any fixings included?Only guide ropes included, had to purchase eyelet screws to tie of guide ropes.
- How small does the 2x3 shade fold up to? Going to attach it to a campervan!Surely it’s 6.5 ft by just under 10 feet.
- How much coverage is lost on the corners (it says the measurements are from the rings so some coverage will be lost in the corners)?The whole thing was undersized, even using the corners and the rings it did not meet the stated dimensions. I returned it!
- What are the edges reinforced with?The edges are hemmed and stitched. The corners are double stitched. The corners have loop tab D rings and are treble stitched. We are very pleased with the quality of the sail.
