Easy to install and waterproof. Had an issue with water gathering even though we put it up at an angle. Kind of think water resistant would be better than waterproof. Although we liked it we are returning the item after a week of being up due to the stitching coming loose. Have decided to purchase another brand as looking back at reviews this seems to be a problem.

This is just brilliant for providing much needed shade on my top terrace. Really easy to put up and take down with a couple of carabiners and a length of good quality rope. Looks vibrant and makes a huge difference. Wish I’d bought one years ago!

Better than expected

Bought to put over our hot tub. Better than expected. It’s incredibly light yet strong and keeps the rain off. If we ever get any more sunshine I’ll be able to find out if it shades!

Nice feature to garden. Does what it should. Nice lime green colour. Sturdy material. We swapped white thin string/rope provided with a stronger rope but that was just our preference.

Not Waterproof Anymore

I have received two in this colour and one in yellow all say waterproof but they are not even shower proof. I have had four other's over the last 5 years and they have been perfect and waterproof. I have now received a refund as they say they have no answer. I have told them to collect the faulty ones and test them for themselves but they don't seem to want to. I think either the waterproof coating is missing or they have used a cheaper material. The new one leaked the first time it rained so I put my old one back which had been up for 3years and has never leaked.

This item is not waterproof!! My previous kookaburra Waterproof Garden Sun Shade Sail Canopy in Yellow which I purchased a couple of years back, was actually waterproof, but this one is not. It allows water through even after light rain, it’s water resistant but definitely not waterproof!!

The area i would like to cover is 4.2m x 2.4m. should i go for the 3m x2m or the 4m x 3m? will the 3x2 stretch that far?
I would go with the 4m x 3m personally. We have had these sunshades for the past 5 years and they are super. You do need the clips/hooks etc., that anchor to walls etc., to hold up. They are easy to clip on and you can take them down in 5 minutes should the wind get really strong fold up and put away in the winter...… see more I would go with the 4m x 3m personally.
