  Nice mirror, but...

  I saw this mirror and thought it looked perfect for what I wanted. For the price and size, there was nothing else available anywhere. I ordered it.First mirror arrived quickly, but as I began unpacking it, I could clearly see the glass was shattered, and was spilling out of the box. I repacked it, arranged a collection and a replacement.The second mirror arrived, I was more careful opening this one - but yet again - it was smashed. Once more, I arranged collection and a refund this time. I decided to wait until a less busy time of year.Recently ordered for the third time and to my delight, the mirror was in one piece!Unpacked and discarded the boxes and polystyrene - then I noticed, a small dent in the wooden frame. I really don’t have the energy to return this again - such a shame because it’s a nice, chunky mirror.

  fantastic value oak mirror

  I wanted a low cost oak mirror, something of a contradiction in terms so I was a little nervous about buying these, but they really look the part. I have bought 2 for the bedrooms. If they did the same as a narrow full length mirror I would be buying a 3rd for the hall.Construction seems solid with robust mounts which are needed due to the weight, I cant fault them as yet.The only issue I had was with the courier. 1 of the mirrors arrived broken having clearly been dropped. The replacement arrived quickly, but the box was damaged as if something heavy had been placed or dropped on it. Thankfully it was okay, but they should perhaps change courier as these were well packaged and they still broke one.

  Better than the price would indicate.

  Arrived quickly and in good condition. Upon opening the box and wading through the ample packaging I came face to face with an incredibly handsome man pictured inside a lovely looking solid oak frame.This mirror looks amazing, purchased for our dining room we instantly decided it had to go in the entrance hall where it could be seen and admired by everyone. I would genuinely expect to pay 4 or 5 times this price if I purchased something of this quality in a store so I am very pleased with our purchase.

  Very slight mirror distortions as the mirror isn't glass.

  Good value, wood frame is perfect but the mirror isn't glass, it's plastic with a mirror finish. The reflection is just like a glass mirror but as it's glued onto the backboard there are typical distortions so you don't get accurate reflections. It's a little bit like those funny mirrors at fun houses but only has very minor distortions at the edges.

  Nice mirror spoilt by problem with fixings.

  Good quality solid oak frame and plain glass mirror but only gets 3 star rating due to minor issues with fixings. Recessed keyhole slots in the back of the frame were not level and some screws in the back panel stood proud of the frame stopping it from sitting flush to the wall as designed. I was able to calculate the screw positions in the wall to make sure the mirror was level when mounted and replaced the screws that stood proud. The mirror looks great now it's on the wall and looks as we wanted. If I'd purchased this mirror from a local store I'd have returned it for replacement or refund but as the overall quality was ok and I was able to overcome the fixings problems I put up with it rather than face the inconvenience of returning it to Amazon via a carrier.

  Great looking mirror but they can't deliver it without smashing it

  The mirror is great I'm sure and seems good value for money but they simply cannot deliver one to me intact. 3 days ago the first one was delivered smashed inside the box. Replacement ordered and broken mirror collected yesterday. Replacement delivered today and also smashed to bits inside the box. Don't bother.

  You won't be disappointed

  For an oak framed mirror, after hours of online searching, I came back to Julien Bowen. I confess, I have their bedside chests, but I gave it a lot of research, and this was the best value (c£60) for the size. I have since bought the yabyoo with Pilkington glass, and I can't see any difference in the JB mirrow quality, and neither can anyone else, even with the mirrors side-by-side - so that may help you compare so you can do the maths.I'll be back.PS their packaging and delivery is insanely excellent.

  Quality forgives the other issues

  So, the delivery was seriously delayed due to a stock issue even though it was still being advertised on Amazon as being in stock - think it was about 9 days.But still have this 5 stars as the quality for the price is outstanding.Very heavy, well packaged, good care instructions and beat my expectations.

  Looks great, very solid strong, great productYou do need own fixing, has couple slots to fit on the wall, either landscape or portrait. Very happy

  Great looking, high quality mirror

  I bought this for our dining room to match our oak dining table, and it looks perfect. The frame is chunky oak which makes it look really expensive, and the mirror itself is good quality, crystal clear as you'd expect from a high quality mirror. Make sure you use strong rawl plugs to hold this on the wall as it's heavy!
